Liantan Zhanggong Temple is a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province.

Zhanggong Temple is located on the left side of Liantan Middle School, Gaojie Road, Liantan Town, Yunan County. It faces southwest to northeast, with a construction area of ​​520 square meters and an area of ​​3,000 square meters. It was built in commemoration of Zhang Yuanxun, the chief military officer of Guangdong in the Ming Dynasty, in the sixth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1578). It was rebuilt in the 27th year of Wanli and was repaired and expanded many times in the Qing Dynasty.

The main buildings include the first gate, the main hall, the worship pavilion, the side hall, the cloister, and the east and west gates; there are a stage, a fort, a hexagonal pavilion, a flower garden and other ancillary buildings in the front and rear yards. There are now the head gate, main hall, side hall and worship pavilion. The main building is square in plan and rests on the top of the mountain. The front hall, worship pavilion and front door are all made of granite pillars with stone flower basket-shaped bases. The main hall has six lattice wooden columns with stone drum-shaped bases. The side halls are all made of brick columns with flower basket-shaped bases. Various figures, flower and bird paintings and poems are painted on the walls of the entire building; there are many couplets engraved on the stone pillars. The temple retains the southern architectural art features of the Ming and Qing dynasties and is of certain value to the study of the history of the Yao people and local folk customs.
