How can rainy weather increase the illumination of indoor flowers?
Light will affect plant morphology and flowering response. Blue light and red light in the spectrum are effective light for photosynthesis, but far red light is ineffective. In natural light, the proportion of red light is higher than that of far red light. Too much far-red light will lead to long stems, thin and large leaves, and decrease the number of branches, which will make the sales quality of plants worse. Therefore, it is very important to provide enough light for photosynthesis. Artificial supplementary light source has great influence on the development of plant light morphology. The far-red light ratio of incandescent lamp is higher than that of red light, while fluorescent lamp and HID have no far-red light. In flower control technology, incandescent lamp can be used as the light source interrupted in dark period, but it may reduce the ornamental quality of plants, so fluorescent lamp and HID are ideal alternative light sources. In seed germination room, fluorescent lamp is the best choice.
