Overview of Xifeng Temple

Xifeng Temple is located in the mountains of Matigou Town (formerly Guayuan Wan Ze Township), Zizhou County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. There is a place called Lucaotan. The mountain is not too high, but the mountain pass is flat and open, and the mountain behind it is steep. I don't know when, people built a small temple at the mountain pass. Although it is only a temple, it is said to be smart, beautiful, kind-hearted and dry. It always rains. Over time, people called this temple Niangniang Temple and this mountain Niangniang Temple Mountain. The original reed altar was little known.

Into the small temple courtyard, sitting in the south hall on the north side, it is hard mountain-shaped, with an arch inside. The eaves shed of the temple is about 2 meters deep, and the inside is not very wide, but the three Notre Dames are dignified, beautiful and radiant, and the children on both sides 16 wear different clothes, giving people a gentle and natural feeling. Although not as majestic as most temples, the gesture of cordial smile makes people feel close. The small courtyard was built on the side for thirty-four years (1770), Daoguang for five years (1825) and Xianfeng for seven years (1857). The bell casting in the fifty-eighth year of Kangxi (1720) hanging on the veranda added to the ancient and mysterious temple, which proved the temple.

For many years, on the seventh and third day of the fourth lunar month, the cigarette party in Notre Dame was unprecedented, with good men and women from neighboring towns and villages and tourists from all directions walking hand in hand. Niangniang Temple is a sea of people, which has become a beautiful scenery and a vivid picture.
