→ During the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Baisha was the four famous historical towns in Minhou County, and it was the only way for Fuzhou to go out of the province through northern Fujian.

→ Baisha Commune in Minhou County, Fujian Province was established in 1958.

→ 1984 was changed to Baisha Town, belonging to Minhou County, Fuzhou City.

→20 10 is listed as a pilot town for comprehensive reform and construction of small towns in Fuzhou.
