Ancient poems about the beginning of autumn
An ancient poem about the beginning of autumn: I love the autumn air, but it is too early and cold in the border town. I am used to wearing fur at three o'clock, but I am crippled by being covered with fur at five o'clock in the morning. The wind falls from the Great Wall, and the sky is as wide as the desert. The sky is full of admiration for eagles and falcons, and the flying feathers are strong and flying.
Appreciation:
This is a five-character poem. The first couplet points out the title, and the first sentence captures "Beginning of Autumn". Autumn, starting from Song Yu's "Nine Bian" and Dong Zhongshu's "Spring and Autumn Dew", the ancients regarded it as a sad season, so-called "its color is bleak", "its atmosphere is cold" and "its meaning is depressed" Ouyang Xiu "Ode to the Sound of Autumn", but Ji Dong went against the traditional understanding of the ancients.
Expressed his sincere love for "Autumn Air". But even so, the chill in the "border town" Xuanfu came too early. The climate in the border area is obviously different from that in the Guanhai Pass. There was originally a "fall" after the "beginning of autumn", and the pass was still hot, but as soon as the beginning of autumn arrived in Xuanfu, people felt chilly.
The word "Tai" illustrates the poet's surprise at climate change. This couplet gives us a preliminary understanding of the cool climate in Xuanhua area and the early cold in Beginning of Autumn.
Zhao Lian further explained the situation of early cold in border towns: "Three Volts" is the hottest time of the year. But it is completely different in the Xuanhua area. Due to the "too early cold", the local people are accustomed to wearing furs during the dog days.
When it’s cold in the morning, use it to keep out the cold. When it gets a little hot at noon, take it off again. "The fifth night of the night is crippled" means that when the sky is about to dawn, the cold is blowing, and you still can't fall asleep despite being hugged by the quilt. In short, this couplet is a true reflection of the local climate and customs, and also brings a fresh and cool feeling to the people in the south who are still in the heat wave.
The neck couplet depicts the magnificent natural features of the border area: "The wind falls from the Great Wall, and the sky is as wide as the desert." What it brings to the reader is a broad mind and a bold spirit, with obvious characteristics in the northern region. Regional characteristics, and if these two sentences are viewed in conjunction with the poet's experience, it can be said that they are describing scenery on the surface, but in fact they are lyrical.
Ji Dong, "a young man with great talent and great spirit. He has always been more powerful than the king of Zhou, but he suffered from the changes in the world (at the end of Ming Dynasty). He wrote "Five Treatises on Choonan" to make the scriptures clear and follow the history. , but it is a strange method, and it cannot be used according to the current situation. It is hidden in the inner door, and it is hidden in the dark. Since it is poor, it can be raised when it comes out. It has been deposed, and it has lost its ambition and traveled around. , walked north from the capital to Xuanyun... to see the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers."
At this time, he gave up his ambition and left the capital to go to Xuan (Hua) Yun (Zhong). When he traveled around, he was undoubtedly full of complaints in his heart, but in the face of the wind falling from the Great Wall, , the majestic scenery of the vast desert and the sky, the mind was suddenly opened up, and the spirit was undoubtedly lifted. The desire to actively join the world once again occupied the poet's heart, which naturally triggered the tail couplet "Moxiao envy the eagle and falcon," "Jianhe Erfei Tuan".
Tuan here means to fly straight upward by the force of the wind. Faced with the majestic Great Wall and the vast "desert", the poet developed the ambition to serve the motherland "without hesitation to cross the desert and bleed for as long as it takes". He pinned this thought and emotion on his envy of "eagles and falcons".
He will spread out his strong wings like an eagle and rely on the power of the wind to soar in the vast sky and reach the sky. The heart of using the world is beyond words.
