Changzhi City God Temple, historically known as Lu 'an City God Temple, is located in Changxing East Road, Changzhi City. With grand specifications and peculiar layout, it is a relatively complete one among the existing government-level city god temples in China. Inscription records that the temple was built in the early Yuan Dynasty and has a history of nearly 800 years. The Ming and Qing dynasties expanded and rebuilt many times.

All the temples in the temple are arranged along the central axis, which is clear and symmetrical. On the central axis, there are suspension bridges, gatehouses, archways, mountain gates, theatres, pavilions, nave, halls and bedrooms, starting from the Nine Dragon Wall (glazed screen wall). There are ear halls and corridors on both sides. There are three hospitals. The whole layout is dense. The eaves of the halls fly in the air, the arches are staggered, and the top of the hall is glazed and resplendent.

The front yard of the temple is spacious and has now been transformed into a garden. There are two ancient pagodas in the Intermediate People's Court, which are luxuriant in foliage and shaped like dragons. A fossil tree, more than 30 meters high; There are two large bronze incense burners in the pavilion, which are exquisite in design and casting, which are rare in the world; The hall of the Intermediate People's Court is tall and spacious, with lifelike oil paintings hanging on four walls.

The backyard of the temple is Huangcheng Palace. In the main hall, there are colorful statues of the city god, as well as grandma and attached images of the city god. The statue is tall, which is rare in the existing county-level city god temples in China.
