Qiuyuan (sixth, Qiuyuan remarried, Tian Si died)

As mentioned yesterday, after Tian Si was given away, when Qiu Yuan visited again, the couple had disappeared from the world, and Ren Shou's health became worse and worse, and finally passed away.

After Renshou passed away, Paisan and Tiansi were both at school age, and Zhihua still wanted to study.

Qiuyuan decided to let Zhihua study in peace, and returned to his hometown of Luoyang with Sanwa Tiansi.

Zhi Hua, who worked hard, was admitted to Yueyang Institute of Technology.

On the day they were going to school, the mother and daughter were silent all the way. When they reached the last hillside, Zhi Hua, who was walking in front, turned around, tears already streaming down his face.

My father passed away and I had to say goodbye to my mother this time. This was my first time going out alone.

She was afraid that her mother would be overwhelmed after she left, and that she would not be able to adapt to the outside world.

She longed for the life in the ivory tower and a place called the library. I heard that it was full of books.

Zhihua came to Yueyang Institute of Technology to register. This is a newly established school. There are many positions that have not been filled yet, so the school has opened up many work-study places.

Zhihua attends classes when there are classes, and works part-time in school to make money when there are no classes.

The school library has become Zhihua’s favorite place to stay. She often loses track of time while holding a book in her hand.

Hua experienced her first love affair on campus.

That is the letter enclosed in the novel "Gadfly". The letter was written by Teacher Xiao Xu.

Zhihua is tall and fair, and has a very pretty smile. Teacher Xiao Xu always likes to look at her in class. Zhihua is confused and understands, and she probably knows what it means.

Zhihua told Teacher Xiao Xu about her family situation. Teacher Xiao Xu interrupted her before he could finish speaking, "I'll wait for you. We are all young. Let's hide this matter first." In my heart."

What the two of them didn't expect was that this feeling would never be revealed again after being hidden.

The school was closed overnight. Although Zhihua got first place in every exam, the results were useless. After a few days of thinking, Zhihua decided to look for a job outside. Back to the countryside again.

She went to the train station and touched the three yuan she had on her body. She used all the money to buy a ticket to Yichun, and then sent a letter home.

Zhihua and Teacher Xiaoxu never met again.

The sun in Yichun hung brightly above her head. Zhihua hadn't eaten anything for a day. When she saw the unfamiliar environment, she felt a little at a loss for a while.

While wandering on the street, a man came up and asked, "Are you the daughter of Mayor Yang?" Zhihua Yimeng said, "Why does anyone here know me?"

It turned out that this man had been rescued by his father, and when he saw the name sewn on the sleeve of Zhihua’s clothes, he recognized it.

This person’s surname was Zhu, who was carrying sand in the construction team. Zhihua could not find a job for the time being, so she proposed to go carrying sand with Uncle Zhu.

At the end of the day, Zhihua earned 1 yuan and 20 cents, which was his mother’s salary for the previous month. When he returned to Uncle Zhu’s house after work, he found that there was no good place in his body and his shoulders were broken. His skin was bleeding, and the blood scabs were clinging to his clothes. He sat on the chair and could not get up again.

On the second day, let alone going to work, I lay in bed and just tried to get up, feeling severe pain all over my body.

It was pity that this person who loved reading didn't block all the way to Zhihua. Zhihua learned about the Labor University next to the battlefield through the recommendation of a coworker.

As the name suggests, people here study and work at the same time, which is not a problem for Zhihua.

After the report, Zhihua chose to major in teacher training. The school organized labor trips to the mountains every week. On the last trip to the mountains, almost everyone’s legs were rotten and bitten by various mosquitoes. It's out of shape.

For Zhihua, this self-sufficient life of working and studying is already the happiest time.

After talking about Zhihua, let’s talk about Qiuyuan.

After Qiuyuan sent Zhihua away, he took Suisan and Tiansi non-stop. After a few days of travel, the mother and son returned to their hometown after 20 years of absence and met their eldest brother Qiucheng.

The eldest brother works in a hospital and has raised a son and a daughter.

After staying at the eldest brother's house for a period of time, Qiuyuan clearly felt that her eldest sister-in-law was impatient and wanted to drive her family away. After all, she was living under someone else's roof.

Ten days later, Qiuyuan left with her two children. When she broke up with her eldest brother, his eldest brother gave her five cornbreads. This was the last time Qiuyuan and her eldest brother met.

On the way back, Qiu Yuan felt very melancholy. She knew that if she went back, she would have to endure hardships with her two children, but if she didn’t go back, she wouldn’t know where she would go.

Qiuyuan looked out the car window, thinking that the world is so big, but there is no place to stay.

When passing through Wuhan and changing trains, Qiuyuan met a fellow villager and talked about speculation. The fellow villager persuaded Qiuyuan to go to Hubei with her in mind.

Qiuyuan finally decided not to return to Xiangyin and go to Hubei! After arriving in Hanchuan, Hubei, Qiuyuan temporarily stayed at the home of fellow villager Sister Chen.

Sister Chen knew that Qiuyuan was good at tailoring, so she took the initiative to publicize it in front of the villagers, and soon she brought many people to her home.

Qiuyuan kept working, and soon the clothes for these people were ready. Everyone found that this foreign woman's tailoring skills were really good.

Before long, people from dozens of miles around knew that a good tailor had come to this family.

Not long after the good days, Qiuyuan was very worried when she encountered a census from outside and was about to be cleared away.

A fellow villager suggested to Qiuyuan that there was only one way left now, which was to find a local family to marry.

You know that remarrying was a shameful thing in that era. Qiuyuan was heartbroken after hearing this, saying, wouldn’t it be shameful for me to remarry in this situation?

The fellow said again that now it is not a question of whether to be embarrassed or not, but to settle down first.

Qiuyuan knew very well that there would be no good life if she went back, and her two sons also liked it here and didn’t want to go back...

After some struggle, Qiuyuan accepted the reality, and with the help of others, Next, Qiuyuan and the village party secretary of the village came together.

The village party secretary is Wang Chengen, who has a cheerful personality and a kind heart. After getting married, Qiuyuan will take care of all the big and small things at home.

One time Qiuyuan was doing laundry and Cheng En came to help. While washing, he saw 5 yuan in Qiuyuan’s pocket. Qiuyuan blushed as if he had done something wrong and quickly explained that this was not private. I don’t know when I put the money, I just forgot to take it out.

Cheng En quickly interrupted and said, "You can keep more private money, as long as I have food to eat and clothes to wear."

Qiu Yuan didn’t say anything after hearing this, but she was very grateful to Cheng En in her heart.

Cheng En’s son is called Wang Aimin, he is naughty, cute and lovable. Seeing that Qiu Yuan and Tian Si are in the same class, the two brothers feel like brothers.

Qiuyuan gradually fell in love with this place, and she felt much better. She felt that her life seemed to be bright and clear. As she grew older, Tian Si gradually opened up, tall and fair, with neatly cut hair, red lips and white teeth.

On the day of junior high school graduation, Tian Si went to school to get his graduation certificate. The weather that day was particularly good, the river was green, the breeze was blowing, and the waves were sparkling.

At around three o'clock in the afternoon, a student brought Tian Si's schoolbag to Qiuyuan. Tian Si was playing in the river and never came up.

After Qiuyuan heard the thunder, she ran to the river like crazy, fell to the ground along the way, got up and ran a few steps, fell again, and the blood on her knees oozed out of her pants. .

What was placed in front of Qiuyuan was Tian Si's motionless body. Qiuyuan fainted on the spot. When he woke up, Qiuyuan cried: "I don't know what sins I have committed in my previous life. I will suffer the consequences in this life." So much suffering. 〞

Qiu Yuan cried heartbreakingly, crying to the point that everyone around her was scared when they saw it.

After not eating or drinking for several days a year, Qiuyuan’s tears dried up and her strength was gone. She began to be in a daze. She wanted to die. She didn’t know what the meaning of her stay in the world was.

Cheng En was afraid that she would do something stupid, so he followed Qiu Yuan all day long. It was only after a few months that Qiu Yuan gave up the idea of committing suicide.

At this time, Cheng En's health also began to decline. Later, when he went to the hospital, he found that he was terminally ill and the doctors were unable to save him.

Suddenly one day, Cheng En called Qiu Yuan to the bedside to explain the funeral arrangements to her. Qiu Yuan wanted to pretend to be relaxed and comfort her, but ended up crying while talking.

Cheng En asked Qiu Yuan, why hasn’t the nurse come yet? Qiuyuan got up and called the nurse. At the moment Qiu Yuan and the nurse entered the door, Shuo En's head was tilted to one side and his heartbeat stopped. One hand was hanging by the bed, holding a bottle of pesticide.

Cheng En did not want to drag Qiu Yuan down and settled the matter on his own, so he explained the funeral arrangements to Qiu Yuan during the treatment period.

Father, daughter, husband, son, remarried husband, Qiuyuan had to do one more white thing, and also sent away each and every loved one.

It is difficult for ordinary people to imagine the pain that time and fate have inflicted on Qiu Yuan. After sending Cheng En away, Qiu Yuan called Zi Heng to pick him up.

Later, the college entrance examination system was restored. After repeated persuasion from his family, he walked out of the field and picked up his pen again and passed the Hunan Normal University.

He will always remember what his father Renshou said throughout his life. No matter when, there must be someone to teach and someone to practice medicine.

Zhihua and her husband have five children and raised three of them. All three children have been admitted to college.

At the age of 56, Ziheng decided to retire and spend all his time with his mother Qiuyuan.

When he was 89 years old, Qiuyuan fell and broke his bones. Because he was too old, doctors did not dare to take care of him. This year Qiuyuan passed away.

While sorting out the relics, Shi Zhihua found a note in the pocket of Qiuyuan's cotton-padded jacket, which read:

From Luoyang to Nanjing in 1932.

In 1937, from Hankou to Xiangyin.

From Hunan to Hubei in 1960.

Returned to Hunan from Hubei in 1980.

The words on the note are very simple, but the displacement, natural and man-made disasters in it cannot be explained. Only by experiencing it personally can we know how much courage it takes to face these sufferings one after another.

I am very grateful to Yang Benfen, the author of this book, for recording his mother’s story. I believe that many readers will have more courage to live after reading this book. At least I was touched.

I have finished sharing the book "Autumn Garden". I wonder what you think after reading it. If you have any insights, please write them down in time!

Thank you for reading and thank you for your attention.
