1. Select the part with full leaf buds in the middle of the branch and cut it into 3-5 cm long, with 2-3 buds as the scion. Cut the long section of1.5-2cm downward on the smooth surface of the scion, and cut the short section of 0.7-1.2cm on the reverse side. Cut off the head at the appropriate part of the rhizome with a hacksaw or branches. On the smooth and flat side of the rootstock, use a cutting knife to obliquely cut a knife on the shoulder of the cutting surface to expose the cambium, aim at the inside of the cambium with slightly exposed xylem, and cut a cut of about 2 cm vertically downward. The terminal bud of the scion is on the same side as the long section, facing the long section and facing the rootstock incision, and the scion is evenly inserted into the rootstock incision.
