Bali Mirror
It is located on Bali Mountain near Fengtang Village, Sulong Town (it is divided into eight pavilions hanging down). There are 4 small hills and a large pond in front of the mountain. There is a large stone slab in the middle of the mountain, and a mountain spring flows on the stone slab. Legend has it that when the sun came out every morning, the four hills were like four colorful phoenixes flying towards the sun; the stone slab was like a bright mirror, which could be seen within eight miles of the mountain and reflected people's shadows. Shiniushan Park is located in Dalan Village, Sulong Town, adjacent to Jinyin Lake to the south and the urban area to the north. It is included in the overall tourism development plan of Luoding City. Shiniu Mountain is one of the eight scenic spots in Luoding. It is 5 kilometers away from Luocheng District and 250 meters high. There are huge rocks on the mountain like a lying cow. There are stone carvings from the Qing Dynasty on the stone cow. The ruins of the Shiniu Temple nearby still exist. Standing on Shiniu Mountain and looking out from a distance, the city of Luoding looks like a mirage. Looking closer at the front of the mountain, hills lie across it, and the three characters "Shiniu Mountain" are naturally formed. On the east side is the "Bali Mirror", one of the eight scenic spots in Luoding, and on the west side is the Wenfeng Tower. The ecological environment is good. It is located on the west side of the top of Shiniu Mountain. It was built in the 55th year of Kangxi (1716). The original height was 10 meters, but it increased to 8.14 meters in the 21st year of Guangxu (1895). The tower is on the same axis (meridian) as the central axis of Luoding Academy. It looks like a large pen and is far away from Luoding Academy. It is called the Feng Shui Tower of Luoding Academy. The tower is divided into two parts: the base and the tower body. The base is made of hard granite stone. It is slightly boat-shaped and has a unique shape. It is 13 meters long from east to west and 5.3 meters wide from north to south. There are 22 steps on the east and west sides; the tower body is flat and octagonal. , with an inner width of 2.5 meters, a side width of 1.5 meters, and a wall thickness of 0.6 meters. It has a pavilion-style structure and is built with blue bricks. The tower is 12.44 meters high, with three floors and a floor height of 2.8 meters. Each floor has six doors. The upper door has a waist railing, and you can lean on the railings inside the tower to enjoy the scenery. The top of the tower is shaped like a gourd. From the upper tower gate, you can have a panoramic view of the Yungui Mountain TV transmitting tower, Jinyinhe Reservoir, Shengjiang Luoding Overseas Chinese Middle School, high-rise buildings in Luoding city, and the pastoral scenery under Shiniu Mountain.
