Famous scenic spots in Shilong town
Jinsha Bay Park, built by the river, is novel in design and full of subtropical customs. From top to bottom, it is divided into three layers: Avenue, Middle Road and Riverside Long Beach. Each floor is interconnected by green steps. There are flower galleries, flower beds and lawns in the park. There are musical fountains, two Little Square, an artificial beach and rows of seats on the long bank by the river. "Jinsha Yangyue" was named as one of the new eight scenic spots in Dongguan. On the right side of Jinshawan Square on the north shore of Jinshawan, there is a large stone carving-Shilong Ancient Town Map, which is carved from Fujian bluestone. The relief is based on the prosperous scene of "Nine Temples and Six Bridges Accompanied by Li Mingfeng" in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and reproduces the former elegant demeanor of the ancient town. The work is 100 meters long and 6 meters high. It is carved from 1 100 pieces of Fujian bluestone with a total stone weight of 65438. In the style of The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, it depicts the history of Shilong for thousands of years, which can be called a Shilong history book.
The picture is set in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and a lot of materials come from the heyday of Shilong Town in the Qing Dynasty. It is as famous as the provincial capital (Guangzhou), Foshan and Chencun, and is known as one of the four famous towns in Guangdong.
Government Square is located in the main scenic spot of Dongjiang landscape belt in Xincheng, adjacent to Yuxing Road in the north and Dongjiang River in the south, which is an important part of the town's planning administrative center. The planned land is trapezoidal, with a width of about 160m and a length of about 197 ~ 220m, covering an area of 3,800 square meters, including a building area of 5,800 square meters, a garden area of 8,335 square meters, a square area of 17 136 square meters and a water area of 2,636 square meters. The base is high in the south and low in the north, with a height difference of about 3 meters. The levee elevation of 8.9 meters to the south is a flood control project of Dongjiang once in 50 years. It mainly reflects the historical context of Shilong Town and provides a comprehensive venue for scientific and technological exhibitions, entertainment and gatherings. There is a musical fountain in the square for tourists to watch, and there is the largest word "dragon" in the center of the square. Through the five metaphors of "dragon", "hall", "water", "boat" and "door", this paper interprets the urban context, historical folklore, regional characteristics and humanistic spirit of Shilong Town. Dongjiang levee in Xihu District, modeled after Jinsha Bay Park, has built a beautification project integrating embankment, highway, landscape and recreation. The top of the embankment is a 23-meter-wide, two-way four-lane highway. The slope protection from the river bank to the river is divided into several levels, namely, grassland, fence, park chair, promenade and azalea promenade. One hundred thousand rhododendrons were planted in 3 kilometers.
