How to express a straight line

There are two representations of straight lines:

1. Use capital letters of any two points on a straight line, such as straight line AB or straight line BA.

2. it can also be expressed in lowercase letters, such as a straight line L.

A line segment uses letters A, B or lowercase letters to represent its two endpoints, and sometimes these letters also represent the length of the line segment.
