1. Tsinghua University.

3. Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
The electrical engineering discipline of the school belongs to the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It was formerly the Electric Power Department of Huazhong Institute of Technology. It was founded in 1952. In 2001, it was restructured into the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. It is currently the largest electrical engineering discipline in China. One of the most powerful teaching and research units in the field.
