Are Zen and Arhat cups the same teacup?

The two mainly differ in appearance and hidden meaning.

Arhat Cup: It looks like a monk’s rice bowl. The mouth is introverted and the fragrance of tea is difficult to disperse. Meditation Cup: The appearance is very special. The mouth of the cup is retracted, and the belly is round and bulging like that of Maitreya Buddha. When you hold it up, it is not like ordinary cups that can be pinched by the outside cup mouth, but can only be held by the bulging belly. Meditation must first start with "entering tranquility" and then reach "perfect tranquility" before reaching "silence". At this time, it is already the state of selflessness, and it enters the void Dharma realm from "empty body" and "empty mind".

However, in order to enter the state of meditation in zazen, you must also have a "transcendent spirit" in order to break through all physical, psychological and subconscious obstacles. The meaning of Zen is to generate supreme wisdom in concentration, and to use supreme wisdom to confirm and prove the truth of all things. This is called Zen.

Generally speaking, meditation may not necessarily lead to enlightenment and liberation, but enlightenment and liberation are inseparable from meditation. Among the three stages of "precepts, concentration, and wisdom", "concentration" is the bridge from "precepts" to "wisdom".
