The children of senior officials who crossed the Tang Dynasty were ignored and sent to guard the novels of Changsun's tomb.
In the second year of Wude, Princess Qin's eldest son, Hehe, was born in Chenggan Hall, so it was named Li Chenggan Hall. But Cheng Gan inherited the imperial industry and has been leading Gan Kun. So although this word is a palace name, it is of great significance when used as a person's name. Therefore, Tang Gaozu's grandson was named "Cheng Gan".
Wude three years, gave birth to the second son, named. In June of the same year, Li Chenggan and Lee Tae were named King of Hengshan County and King of Yidu County respectively.
In the fourth year of Wude, in order to give birth to a daughter, she was named beauty-a gift of beauty, which cannot be concealed. From this name alone, we can imagine Li Shimin's love for this precious daughter. In the same year, Li was established as Wang Wei, followed by Zhuhouguo. It turns out that, as the second son of the King of Qin, Lee Tae's future title was originally the highest one. However, Li Yuan named him Wang Wei (not a descendant of the same product) and rewarded him to the Lord, which was a great favor to the Li Shimin family.
On July 10 this year, Tang Gaozu abolished five baht and issued Kaiyuan Bao Tong. Tang Gaozu specifically allowed Li Shimin to make three coins himself. According to Minister Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, when offering the wax sample, Princess Shi accidentally left traces of nails on the wax sample, so after Kaiyuan casting was completed, there was a trace of "Wen Tao" on it.
Wude five years, appointed nephew, grandson of ChangSunChi, and ChangSunGuQing as the attendants of the eldest son Li Chenggan.
In the seventh year of Wude, Tang Gaozu moved Li Chenggan, king of Hengshan County, to be king of Zhongshan County. Pacify the queen, and appoint Lu Deming and Kong, two masters of Confucianism, as eighteen bachelors of Qin Dynasty, to teach Li Chenggan Confucian classics. In the same year, Sun Xiang, another nephew of Shi, the younger brother of Jiaqing, was appointed as the hero of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Li Chenggan.
Due to his wife Shi's poor health, I thought of her listening to Zhong Xiu Temple in Xuanzhong Temple when passing through Taiyuan, and specially went to Xuanzhong Temple to visit the Taoist monk in the temple and presented many jewels to pray for her.
With the unification of the Tang Dynasty, he spent most of his time in the capital. Due to the contribution of Gao Zhen, the friction between the King of Qin and Prince Li also deepened. Shi gave full play to his advantages as a harem wife and often went to the palace to serve Gaozu and his harem concubines, trying to make up for the bad blood between them.
In the ninth year of Wude, the situation between Qin Gong and the East Palace became more and more tense. Shi Hefang "helped each other in the same boat" and assisted them together. Finally, in order to protect himself, Li Shimin had to lead Sun Chang Wuji, Fang Lingxuan, Du Ruhui, Gao Shilian and others to ambush in Xuanwu Gate. His grandson personally distributed armor to the soldiers and encouraged them. The soldiers were very grateful. After successfully killing Li and Li Yuanji in the Xuanwumen Revolution, she was established as the Crown Prince and was also honored as the Crown Prince's Princess.
On August 2 1 day, after Emperor Taizong ascended the throne 13 days, he made his wife a queen and posthumously awarded his father-in-law as Duke of Qi. In October, Li Chenggan, the eldest son of Zhongshan County, was appointed as the Crown Prince.
In the first year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong attacked Qi Huangong, and Sun Chang, the first person of Xuanwumen Revolution, closed 1,300 households. And because Sun Chang Wuji was a good friend with himself when he was young, and now he is a consort and a hero, Emperor Taizong took special care of him, often letting him in and out of his room, and awarded him an important position as the right servant of Shangshu. On the third day of March, the eldest grandson queen held a sericulture ceremony.
In the same year, Sun Qiang, the uncle of the eldest grandson queen, was removed from office for taking bribes. However, Emperor Taizong often ordered people to send him silk to pay for his expenses, because Sun Qiang was his wife's uncle. Soon he retired with Zong Zhengqing's official title, and was awarded Dr. Jin Ziguanglu's official position and the title of genuine county official.
In December, the eldest grandson Anye of Xue Guogong, the eldest grandson's half-brother, rebelled with Li Xiaochang, Liu Deyu and Yuan Hongshan and died according to the crime, but the eldest grandson pleaded with her husband in tears: "Anye's crime is unforgivable. But he kicked me and my mother out of the house a few years ago, which is known all over the world. If I kill my eldest grandson Anye, the world must think that I am using your majesty's love to get back at my brother. " So other principal criminals were punished, even several sons of Li Xiaochang were killed because they sat together, but the eldest grandson Anye was spared from death.
In the second year of Zhenguan, the eldest grandson opposed his brother Sun Chang Wuji's assumption of an important post, and often said to her husband, "As a former queen, I am extremely honored. I really don't want my brothers, sons and nephews to be above the imperial court. The consorts of the Lu and Huo families in the Han Dynasty were just lessons from the past. I hope your majesty will never appoint my brother as prime minister. " At first, Emperor Taizong didn't listen to his wife's advice and insisted on being generous to senior officials in Sun Chang. So the eldest grandson of the queen privately asked her younger brother to resign from these posts, until Emperor Taizong finally had to agree, only adding Sun Chang Wuji as the title of Kaifuyi and the Third Division. The eldest grandson queen is very happy.
In May, Li Taihou, Wang Wei changed its title to Yue King. Because Lee Tae is the eldest grandson of the Queen, he is partial to the king. Emperor Taizong ordered him to lead the governors of Yangzhou and Yuezhou to come from afar, with as many as 22 fiefs! Almost twice as much as the princes' fiefs in the same period.
In June, Geng Yin, the eldest grandson of the Queen, gave birth to her third son, Li Zhi, in Li Zhenggong. Emperor Taizong was overjoyed. He not only gave a big banquet with more than five items of official grain, but also ordered anyone born on this day to receive food. It is said that during the "Wash Three Dynasties" three days after Li Zhi's birth, the eldest grandson gave the young son the Jade Dragon and the scarlet baby full of pearls that her husband got from Jin Yanggong. Since then, this jade dragon, which is "not a few inches wide, gentle and exquisite, and not owned by the world", has become the mascot of the Tang Dynasty and has been handed down from generation to generation by emperors.
In the same year, Li Lizhi, the eldest daughter of the eldest grandson queen, was named Princess Changle, with 3,000 households.
In the first month of the fifth year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong named Li Zhi, the son of his eldest grandson, king of Jin. In the same year, Emperor Taizong summoned Yuan Wan, a master, to write Tibetan scriptures for his eldest grandson.
In the sixth year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong and Princess Changle, beloved by his eldest grandson, are getting married. Emperor Taizong specially ordered the company to prepare a dowry twice that of princess royal. However, not long ago, Wei Tinggang, an ancient scholar, criticized the outdated style at the dinner table: "Today's nobles are very rich. At the beginning of their marriage, they may play orchestral instruments and have a big banquet; Strive for luxury, regardless of etiquette. ..... If we don't cultivate the side of justice, we are afraid that this wind will become more and more popular. " As a result, Emperor Taizong actually committed crimes against the wind, and the dowry for his daughter was even much more than that of princess royal, which naturally attracted Wei Zhi's strict stop.
Wei Zhi thought the dowry was twice that of a princess, and he tried his best to protest. Later, Emperor Taizong told his eldest grandson about it, and his eldest grandson sighed, "I know that your majesty values Wei Zhi, but I don't know why. Today, I realize that Wei Zheng is really a minister of humerus who is beneficial to the country, but Wei Zhi, as a servant, can directly protest. This kind of character is really commendable. " So he issued a decree to Wei Zhi with 200,000 silks and 400 silks, and specifically told him: "I hope Duke Zheng Can will always keep this heart of daring to speak out, and say what he thinks is wrong, and don't be afraid because of the ceremony of the monarch and the minister."
In March, Emperor Taizong and his grandson went to Jiucheng Palace for the summer. In April, when the husband and wife were walking, they found that a piece of land in the west of Xiaodan Hall was slightly wet, so they guided it with a cane, and suddenly the spring water gushed out, and then it was surrounded by a stone sill and extended into a canal. Because the spring water came from the west of Xiaodantang, Taizong held a banquet in Xiaodantang to invite ministers and give silks. Written by Wei Zhi and Ou Yangxun, The Inscription of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace tells an interesting story about the discovery of Liquan by Emperor Taizong when he was walking with his grandson.
A few months later, the little princess born to the eldest grandson was full moon, and Emperor Taizong was very happy. The ministers held a grand banquet in Xiao Dan Hall. In Shen Bing in September, Prince Li Chenggan came to Jiucheng Palace to appear before him. When Emperor Taizong was happy, he gave a big banquet to the officials of the East Palace and gave silks.
On the first day of October, Emperor Taizong and his grandson returned to Chang 'an from Jiucheng Palace. Emperor Taizong personally served Emperor Li Yuan and offered food and clothing with his grandson until late at night. Emperor Taizong wanted to send Emperor Taizong back in person, but the emperor refused to agree and asked Prince Li Chenggan to send him on his behalf.
In the seventh year of Zhenguan, after more than a year's preparation, the eldest grandson of the queen married Princess Changle, the daughter of Emperor Taizong, and it was probably none other than the eldest son of Wuji, the future Zhao Guogong and the present patriarch Sun Chong. In the same year, Li Zhiyao, the youngest son of the eldest grandson, became the governor of Bing, so where is Bing?
According to historical records, the soldiers were in Taiyuan, which meant that Li Zhi got the fief of Taiyuan. Anyone who knows something about the Tang Dynasty will know that in the Tang Dynasty, Taiyuan was the capital of the north, completely detached politically, militarily and economically. Because Taiyuan is not only the northern town of the Central Plains Dynasty, but also the land of Longxing in Li Tang! However, Emperor Taizong lightly gave Li Zhijin the title of King, and gave him Taiyuan, which had such a unique position. This shows that Emperor Taizong's love for this little son born to his wife can be seen.
In the same year, Lee Tae, the King of Yue, was also awarded the post of Zuo Wuhou and General of Animal Husbandry in Yongzhou, and was also in charge of Yanzhou magistrate and Xia Shengbei magistrate, and was also awarded the post of General Zuo Wuhou. When other princes of the same age went to take office in the fief, Lee Tae not only lived with his parents, but also did not take office in the fief. Emperor Taizong even ordered him to move into the Wude Hall.
In March of the eighth year of Zhenguan, Emperor Li Yuan gave a grand banquet to the Turkic envoys in the Western Regions in the Hall of Two Instruments. Tang Taizong and his grandson personally offered food and clothes, which are rare and precious. Grandson personally combed Tang Gaozu's hair and crowned him with emotion: "The supreme age is old and his hair is all white." Everyone is sad and crying, and the family is just like ordinary people.
Grandson Chen Geng and Emperor Taizong were lucky enough to be in Jiucheng Palace. One night, Chai Shao hurried to report that there had been a sudden change. Emperor Taizong had to put on his armor and leave. Although his eldest grandson who slept with him was ill, he insisted on going together. The imperial secretary stopped them one after another, but the eldest grandson said, "Your Majesty is so shocked, how can I feel at ease?"
In March of the ninth year of Zhenguan, the eldest grandson queen held a silkworm-kissing ceremony. In the same year, the eldest grandson of the queen was unwell, and Emperor Taizong was worried. He invited master Tanzang and master Changfa to the palace to pray for his wife. Later, Master Tanzang died in Huichang Temple, and both the eldest grandson and Prince Li Chenggan sent people to mourn for him. Emperor Taizong also buried Master Tanzang. Master Chang Fa was honored to be the seat of Kongguan Temple at the request of Emperor Taizong, because he was appointed by the Queen.
During the ten years of Zhenguan, with the serious illness of her eldest grandson, Li Chenggan was very worried about her mother's illness and wanted to make an Amnesty to pray for her. But the eldest grandson refused without hesitation, saying, "Life and death can't be changed. Besides, pardoning prisoners is a national event, and advocating Buddhism is something your majesty does not do. How can you confuse the laws of the world because of my humble woman? " Cheng Gan told Fang about it. Emperor Taizong and the DPRK ministers were very emotional. Ministers demanded amnesty, but the Queen's eldest grandson firmly refused.
Although Emperor Taizong could not bear to disobey his wife's wishes and did not grant amnesty to the world, he found another way and thought of praying for his beloved wife in other ways.
In April, Emperor Taizong wrote a letter saying, "The Empress has been vain for a long time and cannot be cured. She will restore the abandoned temples and create 392 Buddhist courtyards in the world, which are better than the seven pagodas in landscape shape and still stand. " Emperor Taizong ordered the overhaul of 392 abandoned temples in the world, hoping that the Buddha would bless his wife's early recovery. Xiuding Temple in Xiangzhou and Shanji Temple in Yizhou have been restored. Wang Bo, one of the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, personally wrote the Monument to Shanji Temple in Deyang, Yizhou, which has been handed down to this day. Obviously, advocating Buddhism was something he didn't do, but in order to get his wife's life back from death, Emperor Taizong did it anyway.
However, although Emperor Taizong tried his best to recapture his beloved wife's life from death, he failed. In June this year, the eldest grandson left her husband, Li Chenggan's relatives Wang and Wang Taitai, who had just lost their crown, and her daughter Princess Changle and four younger children, and died in the legislative hall of Chang 'an Taiji Palace at the age of 36.
The eldest grandson died in the prime of life, leaving her husband and children with endless sorrow. Emperor Taizong was deeply saddened by the death of his wife, as were all princes and princesses, especially Li Zhi, the king of Jin. His mourning touched the people around him, and Emperor Taizong was also very distressed, so he made a move that attracted worldwide attention: raising a pair of children of his eldest grandson Li Zhi and jinyang princess himself, becoming the first emperor in China history to raise a prince himself, and the only emperor to raise a princess himself!
Imagine how many princes and princesses have been raised in China in the last 5,000 years, and how many have been lucky enough to be raised by the emperor's father himself? However, the children of the eldest grandson did not enjoy such honor because of their mother's Leng Cha. This is really a shocking move of Emperor Taizong's temperament!
In September, Ding You, the grandson of the Queen, is going to bury Zhaoling. Yu Shinan wrote an article mourning the Queen Wende, and mentioned the word "Wende" in posthumous title. It's really a long story, the grandson of the Queen.
Empresses and concubines had posthumous title from the Eastern Han Dynasty, but until the Sui Dynasty, all queens had only a single posthumous title, and there was no compound death. It was just that historians combined their posthumous title with the emperor's posthumous title to make it easier to distinguish them. For example, when she acceded to the throne, the queen who chased Dou was called the "Empress Dowager", and after her death, posthumous title was called the "Empress Dowager". But after her death, the eldest grandson was directly restored to "Wende" by Emperor Taizong.
According to the etiquette of the Spring and Autumn Period, it is right to die alone, but it is wrong to die twice. In the eyes of the ancients, only when a single mourning for death is not enough to express the good character of the deceased, will the compound mourning for death be used. Therefore, death after death is extremely rare. Before the death of Empress Grandson in the tenth year of Zhenguan, only Liu Gan, a martyr loyal to the monarch, was killed by Tang Gaozu Li Yuan posthumous title, and no one else had posthumous title.
The two posthumous title "essays" written by the eldest grandson are both beautiful, especially the word "essay". People in the Tang Dynasty believed that "Wen" was the best posthumous title, and "Beauty is nothing better". Even in beauty, no posthumous title can surpass Wen. Visible, in the eyes of emperor Taizong, only "virtue" is not enough to show his wife's beauty, only with posthumous title, the most respected in the Tang Dynasty, can the virtue of his eldest grandson be shown.
1 1 month Geng Yin, the eldest grandson was buried in Zhaoling, and Emperor Taizong personally wrote an inscription for his wife, especially mentioning that the eldest grandson had been asked in every way before his death that "there is no need to build a grave or use a coffin, and all the clothes he needs are shingles and thin". Therefore, Emperor Taizong personally selected Jiuyi Mountain as the site of the emperor's mausoleum, because this mountain is the "chisel" of the mausoleum.
When the eldest grandson was buried, Emperor Taizong specially selected young people who were famous for their beauty, handsomeness, erudition and intelligence, such as Yu Shangfan, Yuan, Qi Shiwu, Du Gushi, Song Sizhen, Lu Shao, Cui and Guo.
During this period of mourning for the queen, another thing happened. The Chinese book official Xu saw the ugly and weird appearance and laughed loudly. When Emperor Taizong knew about it, he was very angry and immediately demoted Xu to Hongzhou Sima. Xu was not only immediately demoted to the third grade, but also reduced from Beijing official to local official, and was severely punished.
Emperor Taizong's memory of his wife goes far beyond this. After the death of his eldest grandson, Emperor Taizong became a monk in Zongshengguan and pursued happiness for the queen.
According to historical records, the eldest grandson was buried behind Gong Xuan Palace in Zhaoling, and Emperor Taizong ordered people to build a plank road outside Shimen in Wuxiang, so that the imperial secretary could live and support like the queen before her death. This plank road was not demolished until the death of Emperor Taizong and was buried in Gong Xuan Palace in Zhaoling.
Emperor Taizong also missed his wife very much, so he built a building view in the upper courtyard and climbed up to see Zhaoling. On one occasion, Emperor Taizong and Wei Zhi boarded the first floor for sightseeing together. Emperor Taizong pointed to Zhaoling and showed it to Wei Zhi. Kevin·Z replied, "My eyes are dim and I can't see clearly. I thought your Majesty was showing me around Tang Gaozu Mausoleum. If you are looking at Zhaoling, then I will see it. " Hearing this, Emperor Taizong burst into tears and had to shed tears to ruin his view.
In fact, in this era of filial piety, a husband will not sacrifice his wife. It is natural that Emperor Taizong missed his wife so openly and was laughed at by Wei Zhi. However, Emperor Taizong's yearning for his beloved wife did not stop because of this, but became more and more uncontrollable, so that in a letter to Wei Zhi, he openly confided to the minister his grief after widowhood-"There have been many things in the past year, and I have been short of a good couple and have been poisoned several times." Where there is life, there is sorrow, and the time sequence moves repeatedly, which is shocking. Since I was born, I have been in a trance, forgetting to eat and eat at night. "In this case, blood and tears are really embarrassing.
In the fourteenth year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong designated the Everbright Dance, which only the emperor could use, as a temple music to worship the eldest grandson queen.
Traditionally, only after the death of the emperor can a queen share the ancestral temple with her husband. However, Emperor Taizong shared his eldest grandson with the ancestral temple long ago, and even the appointed temple fair music was "Dance of Everbright" that only the emperor could use-what kind of affection and attention is needed for his wife to enjoy the same level of sacrifice as her ancestors?
On April 28th, the 15th year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong ordered Nanshan, the first ancestor and legalist, to explain Daoxuan's contribution to his wife and pursue happiness for the stone. This book was later collected by Li Shengduo, a collector in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
In the same year 1 1 month, Xin Mao, Lee Tae and Wang Wei made a wish to build three niches of Longmen Mountain for their mother and eldest grandson, and Emperor Taizong visited the niches. On the other hand, Cen Wenben's Story of Three Niches written by Chu Suiliang, one of the four schools in the early Tang Dynasty, is the largest cliff stone carving in Longmen. This calligraphy and painting is famous for its great engineering, gorgeous decoration, and even "the language of gold and silver", which shows Lee Tae's admiration for his mother's eldest grandson and queen, as well as the importance that Emperor Taizong attached to this niche.
In the 16th year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong built a Buddha statue for his eldest grandson in Taiping Temple, and pursued happiness for his dead wife.
On August 20th of the same year, Emperor Taizong named his 8-year-old daughter Princess Hengshan and went to the inn for 3,000 yuan. Hengshan county is where Hengshan is located. Hengshan Mountain has been one of the five mountains since ancient times, among the famous mountains. There is a saying in the Six Classics of the Tang Dynasty: "The counties of Wumingshan, Dachuan and Guinei can be sealed." Emperor Taizong generously gave Hengshan as a fief to his youngest daughter.
In April of the seventeenth year of Zhenguan, Prince Li Chenggan was exposed to rebellion. And those princes who embarked on the road of rebellion and failed in history often ended in beheading. But when it was Li Chenggan's turn, Emperor Taizong was silent.
Of course, what he did let him down. In order to train Aiko into a qualified Chu Jun, how much effort and energy he has devoted! It's just that Li Chenggan's forced rebellion was a big mistake, but after all, Emperor Taizong still loved this son. He didn't want to grieve his wife, but he couldn't openly take the lead in breaking the law. what should he do ? So Emperor Taizong threw this thorny issue to the ministers-what do you think? As a result, no minister dared to answer.
Because there is no need to discuss how to deal with the prince's rebellion, and it should be punished according to law, but now Emperor Taizong openly asks how to deal with Li Chenggan in front of all the ministers, which is obviously saying that he doesn't want to kill Li Chenggan at all. Finally, the general manager came to the rescue station and said, "Your Majesty can be a loving father for life." So Emperor Taizong ordered the abolition of Li Chenggan as Shu Ren and exile in Guizhou, and finally saved his son's life. Lai Ji also got the attention of Emperor Taizong because of this matter, and his official position continued to improve. Soon, he was admitted to Yuan Wailang, and the following year he was promoted to Mr. Sheren in Zhongshu, and co-wrote The Book of Jin with Ling Hudefen and others.
Even though Prince Li Chenggan and Wang Tai were both demoted for taking the throne, Emperor Taizong was heartbroken, but in order to keep these three beloved sons at the same time, Emperor Taizong decisively named Li Zhi, a young but gentle son, as Prince, and said the following words: "Cheng Gan does not exist; King Jin, it is no problem for the Thai Communist Party to undertake the task. " The king who wanted to seize the official position got the biggest punishment, but he was only demoted to the king of Donglai County and later changed to the king of the county.
As the mastermind of the rebellion case, Li Chenggan saved his life, only to be ruined, while Princess Chengyang's accomplice Xu stayed in life. After Du He's death, Emperor Taizong loved his daughter dearly, so he personally chose Xue Kui as his husband. In order to make Chengyang's marriage no longer have regrets, Emperor Taizong made a divination specially, and the divination showed: "If two fires are eaten together, they will share the same glory at the beginning and the same plant at the end. If you hold the ceremony day and night, you will be lucky in the end. "
According to the practice at that time, the wedding should be held at night, but according to the result of divination, the wedding needs to be held during the day to be auspicious. So Emperor Taizong decided to make an exception and change Chengyang's wedding to daytime, but this move was strongly opposed by Ma Zhou, so Emperor Taizong had to give up. Fortunately, however, the marriage between Chengyang and Xue Kui has not been affected, and the relationship between husband and wife is very harmonious after marriage. Their son Xue Shao is the future son-in-law of Princess Taiping, Tang Gaozong's daughter.
In August, Princess Changle, who was in her prime of life, died of illness. Emperor Taizong was very sad about the premature death of his beloved daughter, and ordered Princess Changle's tomb to use the specifications of three stone gates-this is unique not only in the excavated tombs in Zhaoling, but also in the entire excavated tombs in the Tang Dynasty, only the tomb of Prince Yide buried according to the rank of the emperor belongs to this situation.
However, the misfortune of the royal family did not come to an abrupt end. Jinyang princess, who was raised by Emperor Taizong himself, died of illness at the age of twelve. Emperor Taizong couldn't even eat or drink normally for more than a month. He mourned dozens of times every day and became weak. Ministers offered suggestions one after another, and Emperor Taizong replied, "Why didn't I know that people can't be resurrected after death? Is it useless to be so sad? I just can't control it, and I don't know why I can't control my grief. "
Finally, Emperor Taizong had to hold back his grief, and ordered the relevant officials to build a Buddhist temple next to jinyang princess's tomb with the remaining money from the fief, to pray for his daughter who died unfortunately, and at the same time to give himself some comfort.
In December of the eighteenth year of Zhenguan, Li Chenggan died in Qianzhou, and Taizong retired from the dynasty and was buried with a state ceremony.
Twenty years after Zhenguan, Gao Shilian became ill. Emperor Taizong personally visited him in his mansion and brought up the past. He couldn't help but burst into tears.
In the first month of the twenty-first year of Zhenguan, Gao Shilian died in Chongren, Chang 'an. Emperor Taizong insisted on mourning in the mansion despite his illness, and said to the party who came to stop him, "I went this time not only for the sake of the righteousness of the monarch and the minister, but also for the friendship of marriage in those days." Shilian is also my uncle, and the marriage is heavy. You don't need to persuade me anymore. " So Emperor Taizong took hundreds of knights from Xing 'an Gate to Yanximen. Sun Chang Wuji stepped forward and said, "Your Majesty is not feeling well. It is taboo to mourn at this time. I am very grateful to your majesty for missing my late uncle's old feelings, but my late uncle said before his death:' Your majesty was very kind to me. I may come to offer my condolences in person after my death, but I am only an ordinary member of the imperial court, and living will not help your majesty much. "Sun Chang mowgli knelt in front of Emperor Taizong's horse and tried to dissuade him with tears. Emperor Taizong promised to return to the palace.
In November of the same year, Emperor Taizong reinstated the county king as King Pu, with a food city of 10,000.
In June of the 22nd year of Zhenguan, Prince Li Zhi built a bridge in memory of his mother's eldest grandson, which was appraised by Tang Xuanzang as "a broad and ancient rhyme". Such a magnificent Ji 'anji occupies half of Jinchang Square, more than 10 courtyards, 1897 houses, Yun Ge Temple and a building complex, which is very luxurious. In today's words, this is a project that wastes people and money. Without the support and permission of the emperor, even the prince would not have this ability and courage.
In December, when Dajiangji was completed, Emperor Taizong ordered Taichangqing Li Daozong to lead nine musicals. A Wan Li, Song Xingzhi, Chang 'an Peifangyan and others led the crowd to the county to make the Dajian Hall look solemn. He also ordered 300 monks and invited 50 Taoist priests. Later, Emperor Taizong led Prince Li Zhi and his officials to hold an incense burner at Anfu Gate House, and watched the eminent monks and various Buddha statues, scriptures and relics. Presented to Daxianji in turn, all kinds of rare treasures "dazzled the sun and dazzled the city", and there was no end in sight.
On February 6, the 23rd year of Zhenguan, on the birthday of his eldest grandson, Emperor Taizong married his wife's youngest daughter, Princess Hengshan, to his eldest grandson. Therefore, Emperor Taizong specially promoted Changsuncao, the father of Changsunquan, as the secretariat. This is the help of the wind, and it is tied with Jing and Feng Yi as three generals, and its status is extraordinary. In the Tang Dynasty, prefectures and counties were divided into eight grades, and qi zhou ranked second, second only to Yongzhou, Luozhou and Bingzhou. In the middle and late Tang Dynasty, it was once designated as Xijing. Therefore, as a courtier, the eldest grandson Cao was promoted to secretariat only because his son was still in power. It is conceivable that Emperor Taizong attached great importance to Hengshan Mountain. However, the ceremony of the princess leaving the cabinet was extremely complicated. It was a pity that the wedding was not completed until the death of Emperor Taizong.
May has passed, and Emperor Taizong collapsed in Jiucheng Palace with the wind. In August, Geng Yin and Emperor Taizong were buried in Gong Xuan, Zhaoling, in the same cave as their eldest grandson.
With the death of Emperor Taizong, the story of a generation of Zhenguan Empresses seems to be over. In fact, from ancient times to the present, all kinds of legends about Guan Zhen have been heard all the time and have never stopped. For example, the eldest grandson of the queen was seriously ill during pregnancy, and Sun Simiao's lead pulse was handed down from generation to generation; For example, Emperor Taizong visited a delicious food called Honey Bowl for his wife who was physically weak after childbirth. Another example is that Emperor Taizong made wine himself and shared it with his eldest grandson and queen.
As for the deeds of the eldest grandson queen, it has always been loved by the world. For example, the poem "Spring outing" written by Emperor Taizong to his wife's eldest grandson is "read it as soon as you see it, and it is beautiful", but some old pedants insist that the eldest grandson queen, as a generation of sages, is "affectionate and afraid of hurting her morality"; Another example is a pair of long-sleeved shoes of the eldest grandson, which have been preserved until the Song Dynasty. "Made of Dan feather, decorated with gold leaves before and after cloud cutting, full-length, three inches upward at the bottom, two rows in the middle, and the first two beads"-this flag-headed shoe, made of shiny feathers and decorated with gold beads, was later spread to the secret library of the Song Dynasty. This shoe is beautifully made. Mi Fei, a painter in the Song Dynasty, was ordered to write an inscription for the shoes of Empress Wende, which was later spread to the Ming Dynasty and was also preserved as a national quintessence by people at that time. Some people came up with tens of thousands of dollars to have a look, but the owner refused.
The appearance of this legacy also broke the saying that the eldest grandson queen "mended clothes" and sought virtue. A pair of shoes is still so gorgeous, so the gorgeous degree of clothing can be imagined. In fact, what is recorded in the history books is the attitude of the eldest grandson queen to these clothes, which is enough to prevent unnecessary extravagance and waste, rather than saying that she is very demanding of herself and only wears worn-out or patched clothes. And this pair of shoes decorated with golden beads and Dan Yu is like a mirror, which clearly reflects the gorgeous life of the eldest grandson, Dan Yu, wrapped in golden beads.
Many people want to know why the harem of Emperor Taizong is so calm. Did the eldest grandson's tolerance and compassion move these concubines? No, of course not! Tolerance and sympathy can't stop the competition for favors. There are many examples in the history books that good queens are trampled by favorite concubines. Only the emperor himself can calm down the harem and really calm down the competition for the favorite concubine. It is precisely because Emperor Taizong only loves the eldest grandson queen, these unloved concubines in the harem who have no record except the birth of the prince are not stupid enough to throw eggs at stones and find their own way, so they can only behave themselves, and naturally there will be no jealousness in the harem.
Many people wonder why the eldest grandson queen is not jealous of the harem and why she is kind to the harem. There is a simple reason. The harem has been a system since ancient times, not only for Emperor Taizong, but also for the concubines of Emperor Taizong's harem. Basically, there are no more records except the birth of the prince. For the eldest grandson queen, his love for 3,000 people is concentrated on one body. What are these unloved women to envy? There may not be many icing on the cake in this world, but more people still disdain to hit people when they are down. In the face of these weak people who are unable to fight back, why not take care of them and be kind to them?
Many people are surprised that Wei Zhi obviously prevented the emperor from giving Princess Changle a dowry, but his eldest grandson rewarded Wei Zhi. Is this pretending to be virtuous? Doesn't she want her daughter to get married? The answer is simple, because her daughter has always been beautiful. "She was born as a princess queen and loves her very much, so she deserves twice as much as Princess Yongjia." This sentence has surpassed any treasure in the world and is the most precious dowry of Princess Changle.
Many people want to know why the eldest grandson queen said before she died, "I am a concubine, so I am careful not to let go of my rights, but I am lucky to be invited by my consort." Doesn't she want family honor? There is a simple reason. A queen doesn't have to worry about people leaving tea cool, but she worries that the emperor won't give too much. It must be because the emperor has been too kind to her family.
