Climatic phenomena of arctic oscillation, polar front jet and super cold current viewed from wind
According to Wikipedia, the polar front jet that limits the oscillation of the Arctic usually appears at a height of 7~ 12 km. First set the animation data to "temperature" on Windyty website, and then select the altitude above 8000m, and the following figure will appear.
The fast-moving airflow in the sky should be the so-called polar front jet, and the blue and purple blocks on the map are the locations of the cold air in the Arctic. Obviously, this cold air mass has covered the nearby mainland, South Korea and Japan, and Taiwan Province Province is just at the junction of the rapids. Although the influence of temperature is not as great as that of northern countries, we are fed up with rainy weather. Be sure to keep warm when you go out, and don't forget to keep ventilation indoors to avoid hypoxia and poisoning!
