Introduction of Shaoxing Wenbi Tower?

Wenbi Pagoda, located in Shan Ye, Shaoxing. Newly built contemporary Feng Shui Tower.

According to historical records, there used to be a pagoda in Jishan, also called Wangjiashan, so it was named Wangjiata. The specific time when the tower was built is unknown, but it is not recorded in the Records of Jiatai Meeting in Ming Dynasty, but it has been recorded on the map of Ganlong Prefecture in Qing Dynasty. Experts speculate that the Wang Jia Tower should be built in the early Qing Dynasty.

1942, after the fall of Shaoxing, the ancient pagoda was stolen. Japanese invaders built blockhouses on Ji Mountain and forcibly demolished ancient pagodas. Since then, the Royal Pagoda has ceased to exist.

The present tower was built in 2003. People of insight believe that the original Jishan Academy on Jishan Mountain is one of the places with the strongest cultural atmosphere in Shaoxing, so the new building is named Wenbilou.
