The stupid pseudoscience of Constellation Character is so successful that it has even become synonymous with "Constellation" in public opinion, which makes most people think that there is only 12 constellation, and even the young saints have been forgotten.

Modern astronomy has 88 constellations. Only the zodiac signs can be known to the public by pseudoscience, but people always call them Aquarius, Virgo and Sagittarius. This is because this pseudoscience was mainly introduced into China from Japan and followed the translation method of the East.

The zodiac itself is a solar calendar that divides solar terms-there are not many astronomical phenomena that the ancients can easily observe: the change of the moon's profit and loss is of course the most obvious, but it is a pity that 12 lunar month and 1 solar year are not equal. If agricultural civilization wants to guide agricultural production and decide when to sow, irrigate and harvest, it must come from the reference of the sun itself.

Our ancestors noticed that although we can't see the stars during the day, we can guess where the sun is, and then find that due to the revolution of the earth, the projection of the sun on the celestial sphere will follow an orbit, which is the ecliptic.

In order to mark the position of the sun on the ecliptic, people divide the stars near the ecliptic into 12 groups, which correspond to the solar terms one by one. This is the zodiac.

As far as we know, it was completed by the Babylonians in the 6th century BC, then incorporated into the calendar by the Egyptians in the 4th century, and passed on to the romantic Greeks, with many touching fairy tales. Later, with the rise of Christianity, the zodiac was associated with astrological mysticism and changed beyond recognition.

In addition to the zodiac, people are most familiar with the Big Dipper, which is called the Big Dipper in English. It is also imagined as a plow for plowing fields and is also regarded as a symbol of the left-wing movement. In earlier Babylonia, it was imagined as a chariot, and the Egyptians regarded it as the thigh of a cow.

But modern astronomy follows the Greek and Roman tradition and divides it into Ursa major and Ursa minor. Because those myths say that the jealous Hera turned callisto, who was having an affair with Zeus, into a bear, while the shepherd next to them was still herding cattle, so the connection between Beidou and buckets or cows also entered Greece.

Orion's belt is the shining Samsung in China and the spine of bison in North America-different cultures will use completely different things to describe the constellations in the sky. Modern astronomy is influenced by western culture. Almost all the constellations in the northern sky come from Ptolemy's 48 constellations. Besides the zodiac 13 constellations, there are five groups of constellations from Greek and Roman mythology, namely Ursa major, Perseus, Orion and Bojiang.

For example, the great hero Poerxiusi incarnates Poerxiusi, and the princess Andromeda he rescued incarnates Andromeda. The princess's parents are Cassiopeia and Cepheus, and his mount is Pegasus. He repelled the sea monster with the head of the gorgon, and so on * * * derived nine constellations.

But the Greeks couldn't see the southern constellations clearly. Those compasses, compasses, telescopes, microscopes, clocks and watches are all products of the era of great navigation. For example, the Southern Cross appeared in the low altitude of the northern hemisphere when human beings just invented writing, but due to precession, classical Greeks had to go to Egypt to see it, and it completely sank to the horizon in Roman times.

Until 1500, pedro cabral discovered a fertile land rich in high-quality mahogany in the south. In his letter to King Manuel I, he explained how to locate the cross in the starry sky-this constellation is the rediscovered Southern Cross, and this fertile land is Brazil. Until today, the Southern Cross always appears on the national flags of countries in the southern hemisphere.

The visual sense of distance comes from the difference of eyes' perspective, so if any object is far enough away from us, it is impossible to distinguish the distance visually. The distant starry sky may hide more romantic constellations unknown to human beings, waiting for us to explore.
