Is the TV series "Pi" really about the story of youth?
I picked up "Pi" on the recommendation of a friend. Personally, I feel that this is a film about growing parents through the use of "high school students".
It is actually a high school-themed TV series.
Exaggeration is inevitable in some places, but overall it is very real and close to high school life. There are people with various personalities in the class, rich, poor, divorced, regardless of children. Yes, there are happy ones, there are top students, there are scumbags, there are talented students, there are goddesses, there are tomboys, this is how a class is formed, and this is how youth comes out of collision.
The reasons are as follows:
1. Although the TV series is called "Pi", it uses four typical (weird) families as examples:
Ordinary family - Lin Miaomiao; aristocratic family - Qian Sanyi; wealthy businessman - Jiang Tianhao; single-parent family - Deng Xiaoqi.
The characteristics of these four families are supported by four pairs of typical parents. The description of each of their families should reflect the experiences and responsibilities of middle-aged people in contemporary society. Their lives directly determine the environment of their children.
For example, Lin Dawei hoped to be promoted in middle age, but he was "laid off" in a twists and turns, and then "started a business" in a subtle way. Isn’t this situation closely related to the mid-life crises such as layoffs and layoffs that are now widely complained about?
There are also first love jokes, divorce, extramarital affairs, sister-brother love, etc., which are manifestations of this view of marriage and love, which are also portrayals of this generation of middle-aged people in contemporary social life;
There are also fights The second child and the resulting conflicts within the family, etc. all reflect the life outlook of this generation of parents.
2. At the same time, it uses the problems encountered by teenagers in life as an introduction to "output" the core values of the generation of parents through the mouths of Lin Dawei and others.
For example, when Miaomiao was gloating about Xiaoqi's life experience, Lin's father taught her sincerely that being a parent is not easy and she should respect everyone's life trajectory.
When Miaomiao was told to go home, Father Lin told us in his own way that "everyone's time with their parents is limited" and so on.
There are many similar typical scenarios, so I won’t go into details here.
It can be seen that this drama is a film disguised as a "teenager" that talks about the parents' lives and value ideals of teenagers. It breaks away from simple love and depicts the life picture of the previous generation.
