The two golden dragons in Nanjing Confucius Temple are two dragons playing with pearls on the screen wall. The Confucius Temple is located on the south bank of the Qinhuai River. It was built in the third year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1575). It is 110 meters long and 20 meters high. It is tall and majestic. It is now the largest preserved screen wall in the country.

"The large screen wall of Nanjing Confucius Temple is located at the southernmost end of the central axis of the Confucius Temple, on the south bank of the Qinhuai River on the east side of Wende Bridge. It is the best screen wall in China and is known as "the best wall in the world." What is strikingly different from Confucius temples across the country is that it uses the natural river of the Qinhuai River as a pond, with a pattern of two dragons playing with beads, which reflects the Feng Shui system of ancient Chinese architecture of "lights in front and backs"
