Nalin Lake Scenic Area is located in Nalin Taohai Farm, with a planned area of 30,000 mu and lake wetland10.8 million mu. There is a primitive lake in the Nalin Taohai Farm of Bayannaoer Agricultural Reclamation in the northeast of Wulanbuhe Desert in Inner Mongolia. There are vast smoke waves, European birds hovering, speedboats flying, green reeds swaying, and green mountains and green waters complement each other, making people feel like they are in the beautiful environment of nature. This is Nalin Lake, known as the pearl of the desert.
Nalin Lake is 40km away from Dengkou County, 20km away from Wuhai Airport 120km and 95km away from Bayannaoer City. She is the second largest freshwater lake and important wetland in western Inner Mongolia after Bayannaoer Agricultural Reclamation Wuliangsuhai, which has great tourism development value. The lake is irregular and half-moon-shaped, with a total area of 20,000 mu, a clear water area of 60%, an average water depth of 3.5 meters and the deepest point of 6 meters. It is the main breeding and migration place for birds. There are more than ten islands in the lake, the largest of which is about 150 mu. Eight pleasure bays with beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery. 100 Many kinds of migratory birds grow and breed here, including white swan, black swan, crane, egret, heron, swan goose, pheasant, wild duck and other dozens of national first-and second-class protected birds. Yellow River carp, grass carp, crucian carp, silver carp, catfish, Wuchang fish, river crab, river shrimp and other aquatic products are very famous in the surrounding areas. Reed is dense in the lake, with an annual output of 2000 tons.
There are 6 islands in Nalin Lake, the largest of which is about 150 mu. There are six agricultural branches around the lake, with ten thousand mu of fertile land, which belongs to the national pollution-free production base. The famous "Nalin" melon and "Wangyedi" hay are the first batch of green products of this farm.
Thousands of acres of Hu Yangshu have been planted on the south bank of Nalin Lake, and the north bank is rolling sand dunes. Nalin Lake is like a bright pearl embedded in the Ulan Buh desert. It is isomorphic with camel's shadow in the sand sea, sunset in the desert, vibrant psammophytes and rural scenery in vertical and horizontal irrigation areas, which has become rough and magnificent in the northwest. In summer, the air here is fresh and the scenery is infinite. In spring and autumn, many kinds of rare birds and animals came to live on this sparkling lake, forming a great spectacle in the desert.
Nalin Lake is rich in natural resources and considerable in ecological value, with good development prospects and great development potential. It is another scenic spot for Bayannaoer Agricultural Reclamation Bureau to attract investment and develop tourism. It can be connected in series with scenic spots such as Sansheng Public Water Conservancy Project of the Yellow River, A Gui Temple, Yinshan Rock Painting and Alian Root to form a boutique tourist route. In the past two years, the farm has invested millions of yuan to increase infrastructure construction and transformation. The roads in the field extend in all directions, and the black oil path will lead to the lake. High and low voltage transmission and transformation lines have been introduced around the lake. In order to adjust the water quality, eight water intakes and a pumping station are built around the lake, which effectively circulates the lake and ensures the water quality. Tap water, cable TV and communication network are complete. The newly-built restaurant of Nalin Tourist Hotel, which can accommodate nearly 100 people at the same time, has been completely renovated. The newly-built sculptures "Farmland is Rising" and "Corps Monument" in Farmer Street and Street Park symbolize the spirit of farmers who dare to explore, innovate and climb the peak. The petrel at the top of the monument marks that the second venture of farmers is taking off.
