Shiyang Town, formerly known as Shiyang Township, was approved as an established town in June 1995. The Town People's Government is located in Toutou Village, the southern end of the county seat, 2 1 km away from the county seat, with an area of 46 square kilometers, bordering Jiahe County and ningyuan county. Xinjia Highway and Xintu Highway meet in Shiyang Town to form a "cross" intersection, which is known as the south gate of Xintian.
