Modifying sick sentences is an important content that cannot be ignored in Chinese, and it is also a common important content in teaching. After mastering the method of modifying sick sentences, you can avoid or make fewer mistakes in making sentences and writing articles, and at the same time, you can find and correct sick sentences in your own articles in time, which will be of great help to children's writing. Teachers and parents are advised to let their children watch more.

There are nine common types of Chinese sick sentences:

1. Incomplete components: Without some necessary components in a sentence, the expression of meaning is incomplete and unclear.

For example, "I have done a lot of good things for my class." It is not clear who has done many good deeds.

2. Improper use of words: due to unclear understanding of the meaning, it is easy to use improper words in the scope of the meaning, praise and criticism, especially the wrong use of synonyms and related words, resulting in sick sentences.

For example, "he does things calmly and arbitrarily." "Arbitrary" is a derogatory term, which should be changed to "decisive" if used improperly.

3. Improper collocation of words: In a sentence, some words can't be collocated with each other in meaning or collocation is unreasonable, which violates language habits and causes sick sentences. Including the improper use of some related words.

For example, "at the party, we heard sweet songs and beautiful dances." Obviously, "hearing" and "dancing beauty" cannot be matched, and should be changed to "at the party, we heard sweet songs and saw beautiful dances."

4. Inconsistency: In the same sentence, the meanings expressed before and after are contradictory, resulting in ambiguity.

For example, "I guess he must have done this problem wrong." The first half of the sentence is not sure enough, and the second half is sure that he is wrong, so there is a contradiction. What happened? People don't understand. It can be changed to "I guess he did this problem wrong." Or "I conclude that he did this problem wrong."

5. Word order inversion: Under normal circumstances, the word order in a sentence is fixed, the word order changes, the position is reversed, the meaning of the sentence will change, and even cause sick sentences.

For example, "China people are very interested in me." The positions of "Chinese" and "I" are reversed and should be changed to "I am very interested in Chinese."

6. Repetition: In the sentence, the meanings of the words used are repetitive and appear cumbersome.

For example, "he rushed into the classroom and announced the good news of going for a spring outing tomorrow." Both "excited" and "in high spirits" in the sentence mean that he is very happy, so one of them can be deleted.

7. Unclear concept: refers to the unclear concept, improper attributes and chaotic scope of words in sentences.

For example, "Wan Li Great Wall, Palace Museum and Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge are all historical sites that Chinese and foreign tourists yearn for." The "Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge" here is not a "historic site", and the concept of ownership is unclear. It should be changed to "The Great Wall of Wan Li and the Palace Museum are historical sites that Chinese and foreign tourists yearn for."

8. Unreasonable and unreasonable: Some words in the sentence are unclear, misused, or have unreasonable meanings, which can easily lead to sick sentences.

For example, "the rice is ripe, the fields are green, and there is a bumper harvest." Rice is golden yellow when it is ripe, but it is unreasonable to use green to describe this sentence.

9. Ambiguous reference: It means that when there are many people or things in a sentence, the reference is unclear and ambiguous.

Pronouns are divided into personal pronouns [I, you, he (she, it), we ...], demonstrative pronouns [here, there, there ...] and interrogative pronouns [who, where]. Ill-defined sentences refer to the incorrect use of pronouns. There are two main kinds of this kind of sick sentence. One is that a pronoun replaces several people or things at the same time, causing confusion in reference. Misuse of demonstrative pronouns and interrogative pronouns.

For example, Liu Ming and Jin Gyeong are good friends, and he often asks him to play ball. -"He often asks him to play ball" should be changed to "Liu Ming often asks Jin Gyeong to play ball".
