Simple name embroidery stitch
Tools/raw materials: clothes, pencils, needles, colored threads and scissors that need to be sewn with names.
Methods/steps:
1. First, we prepare the clothes that need to be sewn. I took my daughter's skirt as a demonstration. Of course, other clothes can also do this. It's better to choose darker lines, which will be more obvious.
2. Make preparations before sewing: first write the baby's name on the skirt or hem with a pencil. I suggest not to write it on your chest, it will be too conspicuous. The name should be written in a moderate size. If it is too small, it will be difficult to satisfy. If it is too big, it will appear abrupt.
3. Thread colored thread through the eye of the needle. The thread should not be too long, otherwise it will be easy to knot if you are not skilled. Then pull the lines together in the same length, showing a double-stranded line, and rub the tail end of the colored line with your fingers to make a summary.
4. The first stitch follows the handwriting from the inside of the clothes and starts from the bottom of the clothes, so that the summary just played will stay in the clothes and the whole will be more beautiful.
The second needle goes down two millimeters from the front of the first needle, and then comes out two millimeters from the bottom, just like the flat needle method we use every day. (as shown in the figure below)
6. Don't pull out the needle yet, wrap the thread at the end around the bottom of the needle, and then pull out the needle, as shown below. The needle must be wound before it is pulled out, otherwise it will be a flat needle when it is pulled out. )
7. Next, go back from the needle that has just been sewn, that is, count the second needle eye from the front. From here, we thread the needle from bottom to top, come out two millimeters in front of the first needle, and then wind it from the bottom of the needle (the same as the previous operation steps).
8. According to the same steps, we first meet the word "mouth" in the upper part of the first word, then tie a knot at the end of the line, cut the line with scissors, and then continue to meet other parts.
9. For strokes with dots like this, or other shorter strokes, we can just sew two stitches. Pay attention to put down a stitch and leave the thread in the clothes when finishing.
10, all the words are sewn up. Let's tidy up the clothes and cut off the slightly longer lines inside.
Matters needing attention
1. In fact, there are many ways to embroider characters in life, and this is just one I often use.
2. It is better to use double-stranded wire, which will be stronger and more washable.
3. If the sewing process is knotted, cut the thread, tie a knot in the cut part of the clothes, and then continue to meet.
