Does Ganling Yin Qi imply that Wu Zetian is in power? Unscramble the mystery of Ganling

Revealing the mystery of Ganling: In the first year of Shenlong, 82-year-old Wu Zetian died in Shangyang Palace, leaving a testament to the emperor, called "Empress Ze", and was buried with Gaozong in Ganling.

According to the burial system of Emperor Taizong's "the mountain is the tomb", Ganling was built on Liangshan Mountain, 6 kilometers north of Ganxian County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. There are three peaks in Liangshan * * *, the highest in the north and the lower in the south, facing east and west. Ganling is just above the North Peak. There is another interesting legend about the location of Ganling.

According to legend, shortly after he ascended the throne, he sent Wuji, Li and others to seek advice and choose a mausoleum for himself. At the same time, they took a fancy to the geomantic omen in Liangshan. The main peak of Liangshan goes straight into the sky, with Jiuzhang Mountain dancing in the east and Loujing Mountain and Qishan Mountain in the west. Wu and Qishui met in front of the mountain, forming a water wall, which surrounded the dragon gas underground. Liangshan can be said to be a rare "Holy Land of Long Mai" in the world. However, this statement was refuted by Yuan Tiangang. Yuan Tiangang believes that Liangshan is a blessed land, but it also has many shortcomings. Long Mai in the Tang Dynasty branched off from Kunlun Mountain and crossed the Yellow River. Entering Shanhaiguan, it spread eastward to Jiuzhang Mountain, Jinsu Mountain, Cragginess Mountain and Yaoshan Mountain headed by Qishan. Emperor Taizong has been buried in Jiuzhang Mountain as the dragon head, so it is impossible for Tang Gaozong to be buried before the dragon head. In addition, Liangshan was Long Mai's tail in the Zhou Dynasty, and the tail gas would decay, so it was buried here for fear that Li Tang would be in danger. Moreover, the northern peak of Liangshan is very high, and the front and rear peaks are like women's breasts. I'm afraid Yin Qi is too heavy, and women are in power.

After listening to Yuan Tiangang's lecture, the emperor didn't know how to decide. This matter was known by Wu Zetian. When Wu Zetian was a child, she had heard from her father that she could be an emperor in the future, so she suggested that the emperor agree with Li. The emperor agreed, and the imperial edict came out the next day, making Liangshan the location of the mausoleum.

Later generations of incorruptible experts also generally believe that Liangshan is beneficial to Xiaosan. No wonder Wu Zetian died in Luoyang, but she moved to Ganling, Shaanxi Province to be buried with Emperor Gaozong, and made Liangshan her "place of longevity" a hundred years later.

Ministers argued about the naming of Ganling for a while. Some people say that the mausoleum of Emperor Taizong is called Zhaoling, and the mausoleum of Emperor Gaozong should be a mausoleum inherited from the grace of Emperor Taizong. Later, Sun Chang said to Wuji, "Liangshan is located in the northwest of Chang 'an. Liangshan in the gossip is a cadre, the sun, the sky and the emperor. Liangshan is not only a paradise for your majesty to live forever, but also a place where Gansu and Kunming combine, and your majesty will be the emperor forever. In my opinion, just call it Ganling! Gaozong was very happy after listening to it, so he named it "Ganling". There is a saying that work is yang, Kun is yin, work is male and Kun is female. Liangshan heroes are cloudy, and if there is work, there must be Kun. It seems that "women rule the world" is predestined.

This dry mausoleum was built on a hill. After more than 3 days and nights of intense construction, the main project was not completed until August 684 AD. After Emperor Gaozong was buried, he continued to build Ganling.

The cemetery is modeled after Chang 'an City in Tang Dou, and is divided into Imperial City, Miyagi City and Outer Guo Cheng. According to historical records, the mausoleum originally had two inner and outer walls, four city gates, and many magnificent buildings such as Xiandian Quelou. Exploration shows that the inner city of the cemetery is square, with the north and south walls of 145 meters, the east wall of 1582 meters and the west wall of 1438 meters, with a total area of 2.3 million square meters. There are 6 courtiers in the city, such as Xiandian, Wing, Cloister, Quelou and Di Renjie. For example, the ancestral temple and the Xiagong. There are Zhuque Gate in the south, Xuanwu Gate in the north, Qinglong Gate in the east and Baihu Gate in the west of the city wall, just like a U-shaped dry tomb with two tall and powerful six-dimensional stone tablets in front, and Shu Shengji tablet in the west, which mainly eulogizes Tang Gaozong's achievements. It was written by Wu Zetian and Tang Zhongzong Li Xian, and the golden traces of individual words still exist today. According to the characteristics of the symmetrical layout of Ganling architecture, the opposite of the "monument to grief" is the "monument without words". The tablet without words is 7.53 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1.49 meters thick and weighs about 98.8 tons. There are eight dragon slayers on the tablet, four on the left and four on the right. The monument is carved from a complete boulder, and the lines on both sides are carved with a 4.12-meter-high Dragon Pagoda. The lion horse figure is engraved on the front of the monument, with a length of 2.14 meters and a width of .66 meters. This tablet without words was obviously erected by Wu Zetian at the same time as the death of Emperor Gaozong. It should be the "merit monument" that Wu Zetian prepared for herself in advance. However, it is puzzling that there is not a word on this monument. People have different views on this, which can be summarized in five ways: first, it is needless to say that one's merits are noble; Secondly, it is not convenient to say that you know you are guilty; Third, the merits and demerits are left to future generations; Fourth, it is inconvenient to say that the title is not uniform; Fifth, it is unnecessary to say that everything is empty if you believe in Buddhism. Five statements are possible, but so far there is no conclusion.

The great charm of Ganling lies not only in its unique burial tomb of two emperors and a couple in the world, but more importantly, it is recognized by archaeologists as a tomb that has never been visited by grave robbers. Wu Zetian's life is legendary, and the mausoleum after his death is also full of mysteries.
