Classification of eyes

China people's classification of eyes generally includes the following categories:

1) standard eye: also known as almond eye, the eye is located in the standard position, which is more common in men. It is characterized by a proper proportion of the width of the eyelid fissure, which is wider than that of the phoenix eye, dull corners of the eyes, more dark circles and white eyes exposed, and it is delicate and beautiful.

2) Phoenix Eye: the inner canthus angle is larger than the outer canthus angle, and the foreign capital is slightly higher than the inner canthus angle. The palpebral fissure is slender, narrow inside and wide outside, and develops in an arc. The exposure of black eyes and whites is moderate, the eyelid skin is thin and rich in oriental sentiment, and the shape is exquisite and lovely. Both men and women are one of the criteria for beautiful eyes.

3) Long and thin eyes: also known as long eyes, with small palpebral fissure, small curvature of palpebral margin, and relatively less exposure of dark circles and white circles. It gives people a feeling of lack of vision, which often seems to be lacking in spirit.

4) Round eyes: also known as litchi eyes and big eyes. The palpebral fissure is wide and wide, the eyelid margin is curved, and many black eyes and white eyes are exposed, making the eyes round. It gives people a bright and clever feeling, but it is relatively lacking in elegance.

5) squint: the palpebral fissure is small and narrow, the inner canthus and outer canthus are small, most of the black eyes are blocked, and the eyeball is small. It seems gentle, but it has a sense of photophobia. Lack of vision and charm.

6) Eye lifting: also called strabismus. The outer canthus angle is higher than the inner canthus angle, the axial inclination of the eye is too high, and the outer canthus angle is upward. From both sides, they are all inverted "eight characters". It is sensitive and witty, with sharp eyes, but it has a cold and severe feeling.

7) Vertical eye: also called downward strabismus. The appearance features are opposite to that of hanging eyes, the angle of outer canthus is lower than that of inner canthus, and the eye axis is inclined downward, forming an eye shape in which the outer canthus is inclined downward. Seen from both sides, it looks like a figure of eight. It looks innocent and lovely, but it gives people a gloomy feeling, too old.

8) Triangular eye: Generally, the angle of the corner of the eye is normal, mainly due to the drooping of the middle and outer canthus of the upper eyelid skin, which makes the eye crack into an approximate triangle, which is common in middle-aged and elderly people, but rare.

9) Deep eye socket: The main feature is that the upper eyelid is not full, which is common in westerners. Eyes neat and stretched, mature when young, tired and gaunt when middle-aged and old.

10) Eyebag swelling: Also known as goldfish eye, the eyelid skin is thick, and the subcutaneous fat is bloated and protruding, which weakens the three-dimensional sense between the eyebrow arch, the bridge of the nose and the eye socket, and the appearance is not beautiful. It gives you the feeling that it is inflexible, slow and ugly.

1 1) Telepathy: The main feature is that the distance between the inner canthus is too wide, and the eyes are too far apart, which makes the face wider, loses the beauty of proportion and looks too dull.

12) Close eye: The main features are that the distance between the inner canthus is too narrow, the eyes are too close, the five senses are folded, the three-dimensional sense is enhanced, serious and nervous, and there is excessive depression.

13) exophthalmos: the eyelid fissure is too wide, the eyeball is large, protruding forward, the black eyeball is completely exposed, and the exposure range of the white eyeball is also large. If there is white eyeball exposure around the black eyeball, it is commonly known as "four whites", which is a pathological manifestation.

14) Small round eyes: The main feature is that the height and width of ptosis are short, but the proportion is moderate. The eyelid margin is small arc, the corner of the eye is slightly dull, the eyes are black, the whites of the eyes are less exposed, and the eyes are small. The whole eye shape is small and round, which affects the coordination of the whole face shape and gives people the impression of agility and persistence, but lacks expression and charm.

Eyes (also called eyes, eyes) are organs that can perceive light. The simplest eye structure can detect the brightness of the surrounding environment, and the more complex eye structure can provide vision. Compound eyes usually exist in arthropods (such as insects), and usually consist of many simple small eye surfaces, and produce one image (instead of multiple images as usually imagined). In many vertebrates and some mollusks, the eyes image by projecting light to the photosensitive retina, where the light is received and converted into signals and transmitted to the brain through the optic nerve. Usually the eyes are spherical, filled with transparent gel-like substances, with a lens for focusing and usually an iris to control the amount of light entering the eyes.

Eyes are the visual organs of people and animals. It consists of eyeball and its accessory organs, the main part of which is eyeball.

The eyes are the most important organs in human senses, and about 80% of the knowledge in the brain is obtained through the eyes. Reading, looking at pictures, enjoying pictures, looking at people and enjoying beautiful scenery all require eyes. The eyes can distinguish different colors and brightness of light, and convert this information into nerve signals and transmit them to the brain.

The human eye is the benchmark of telescope magnification, that is to say, the magnification is 1, and the aperture is the size of the pupil of the human eye, which varies with the change of illumination intensity and generally fluctuates between 2-7 mm.

Imaging principle

The eye can change the focal length of the lens by adjusting the curvature (refraction) of the lens, so as to obtain an inverted and reduced real image. The farthest point that the eyes can see is called the adjustment far point, and the far point that the eyes can see is extremely far; The closest point that the eye can see is called the accommodation near point, and the accommodation range is called between two points. The near point of normal eyes is about 10 cm away from the eyes.

Minimum distance of clear vision

The apparent distance of myopia is generally around 10 cm, (the apparent distance refers to the distance that the human eye is not tired when reading for a long time), and the apparent distance of the right eye is around 25 cm, so the human eye is not tired when reading at this distance.

Visible light frequency

According to scientific research, the expression of eyes is most closely related to the sun. In fact, the development of human eyes into such a complex, dexterous and vivid optical system is the result of long evolution of human beings in the process of natural selection.

Electromagnetic waves emitted by cosmic objects include a wide range of frequencies from radio waves to gamma rays. However, there are only two skylights left in the earth's atmosphere, one is an optical window (or visible light window) with a wavelength of 0.78~0.4μm, and the other is a radio window with a wavelength of about10m ~1mm. Except for visible light, the electromagnetic radiation in other bands of the sun is basically absorbed by the earth's atmosphere. Since they can't "participate" in illumination, it is unnecessary for human eyes to "set" photoreceptor cells for them in the long evolution process. This explains why the so-called "visible light" that human eyes can feel is in such a band (780nm~400nm), but not in other bands.

Painting expression

The eyes are the windows of the soul, the structure of the eyes is beautiful, and the eyes can convey rich emotions, which is the most critical part of figure painting.
