The Origin of Guanjia Lane

According to the China Writers' Library, there are two versions of the name Guanjiaxiang:

1, this alley is sparsely populated. Later, a big family named Guan settled here. There is a person in the family who is famous for being admitted to Jinshi, so this alley is named Guanjia Lane.

2. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were many officials around the alley, including Xiangyang county officials, the police department and the Lumen Academy. These officials all have butlers, and most of them live in this alley, so it is called Butler Lane.
