Mopanshan, also known as Xiaomopan Mountain, is located in Wangxiang Village, Qianerdao Township, Fengman District, in the west of Jilin City. It is 15km away from the urban area, with a total area of 10km. The top of the millstone peak is shaped like a millstone, hence the name. The mountain is north-south, and the north-south peaks are opposite, with long peaks in the south and sharp peaks in the north. The main peak on the north side is 783.8 meters above sea level. Mopanshan is very steep. The mountain is composed of granite, the surface is brown soil, and the vegetation is dense, mostly natural forests, with a forest coverage rate of 90%. Wolves, snakes, foxes, pheasants and birds often haunt; Kiwifruit, Vitis amurensis, Prunus tangutica, Carya cathayensis, Rhizoma Arisaematis, Pteridium aquilinum, Corylus heterophylla, Fructus Schisandrae, Cortex Phellodendri, Afeng, Caulis et Folium Gaultheriae Yunnanensis, Fructus Xanthii, Radix Platycodonis, Sweet Potato and other wild animals and plants are extremely rich.

Among the rocks on the hillside, there are natural caves such as Drip Cave and Huxian Cave. There is a Buddhist temple on the mountain, Wande Temple. There are beautiful and magical legends and the prosperity of religion in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. There are chimneys (Erlazi) and other natural landscapes with magical legends, which have long been regarded as a treasure trove of geomantic omen.
