Yuxian County is located in the east of Shanxi Province, at the west foot of Taihang Mountain, with east longitude 1 12.55 to13.49 and north latitude 37.57 to 38.3 1. It borders Pingshan County, Jingxing County, Hebei Province and Pingding County, Shanxi Province in the east.
