History of Real Zaragoza Football Club
New Zaragoza is not going well. 1939 has been hovering between the first and second echelons in the 1940s and 1950s, and even fell into the third echelon in 1947. At that time, the team was nicknamed "millionaire" because the club spent a lot of money and the players got high salaries, but the results were not satisfactory.
195 1, the club was officially renamed as "Real Zaragoza", 1957, and the La Roma radar stadium was completed. Because the club suddenly became rich by selling the land of the old stadium, it was able to form the best team in history. On the front line, Canario, Santos, Ma Sereno, Villa and La Petra are called "Fantastic Five" and led by them.
After bidding farewell to the Fantastic Five in the 1970s, the team began to decline. 1974-75 was relegated in the following season after being runner-up in La Liga. Although stars like Rijkaard joined in the 1980s, the effect was not satisfactory. It was not until the 1990s that the young coach Victor Fernandez became the coach. With the help of the then stars Esned and Poyet, the team won the King's Cup of 1994 and the Winner's Cup of 1995!
After entering the 2 1 century, the team gradually beautified the south and constantly invited high-level players from Argentina and Brazil to join. Especially in the 2007-08 season, the team gathered Brazilian D Milito, D 'Alessandro, aimar, Matuzalen and other Argentine stars in the frontcourt, and the attack power should not be underestimated.
In the 2007-08 season, the joining of former AC Milan player Oliveira further strengthened the team's strength, but during the season, their internal struggles continued, and finally they were unexpectedly relegated with a poor record of 10 win 12 draw 16 loss. Diego Milito, aimar, Sergio Garcia, Matuzalen and Oliveira left the team one after another. However, through the efforts in the second year, the team was able to return to La Liga from the third place in La Liga in 2009 09- 10/0 season.
