The history and culture of the concept of the Queen Mother
(1) Religious culture, it is said that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty widely set up five thousand Taoist temples, and the concept of the Queen Mother is one of them, which shows that it has a long history. In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Bao Puzi and Ge Hong knew the order of Guangshan, and peeped at the Queen Mother's view of geomantic omen, but the Taoist school won the game. Therefore, he often traveled to the Queen Mother's view, then resigned and retired, and lived in seclusion in the Queen Mother's view for several years, leaving many relics. Religious temples such as Longtan Temple and Tianshi Temple were also temples in the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are not only temples, sites, but also rich religious legends, which have a wide influence in Guangshan and Xinxian.
(2) Folk culture, the concept of the Queen Mother is located at the head of Chu and the tail of Yu, deeply influenced by the Central Plains culture and Chu culture, and the performance of folk customs is very special;
(3) Red culture. During the war years, Li Xiannian, Qiu Jinmin, Gao Jingting, Liu Mingbang and Zhang Wenxue had hidden, worked and fought in Wangmu Temple, among which Zhang Wenxue was arrested for being a traitor. There is the former battle site of Egret Bay under the Queen Mother Mountain;
(4) History and culture. When Sima Guang's father, Sima Chi, knew about Guangshan County, he left many relics in Wangmu Temple. The dike-making place, bamboo planting place and rain praying platform of Sima Chi are still well preserved.
