Scale system of Shimen Buddhist temple

There are three courtyards in the Great Buddha Temple, with wing rooms on the left and right and a main hall in the middle, which are divided into Songzi Hall, Guanyin Hall and Lei Yin Hall in turn. The stone carving in the temple is Guanyin statue, which is13.5m high. The main hall is a gable roof with seven eaves, glazed tiles on the roof, a vase in the middle and a beam frame with a kiss hanging beam at the wing angle. The left and right wing rooms are made of stone-wood structure, hard hilltop, small blue tile roof, bucket beam frame, six columns and four penetrations. The whole mountain gate is built on a cliff, which is rigorous in structure and magnificent.

In the first way, it is said that Lu Ban and his disciples searched all over Wanling, Qian Shan, north and south of the great river, and finally chose this land of geomantic omen to build a Buddha, which gave the Buddha an aura.

According to the second legend, considering the hardships of pilgrims, the Buddha let the mountain spring seeping from the stone wall behind the Buddha statue flow into the well at the bottom of the Buddha, which overflowed all the year round. People who drink this kind of water can keep safe, bring good luck and eliminate diseases and disasters.

The third legend is the most amazing. It is said that the giant Buddha is very effective, so the construction of the giant Buddha is different from other Buddha statues. The Buddha's body is full of grains, and it can eat fireworks and solve people's hearts. "Jiangjin County Records" records that "the Great Buddha Temple is hundreds of miles away from the city, near the Shimenchang River, ten feet high on the ancient carved giant bergamot rock, with a net bottle stone on the left and a parrot on the right, and the temple is built on the rock, with a height of more than ten feet, which is seven floors."
