Sea of Thieves Cursed Fortress strategy guide
The multiplayer RPG pirate game Sea of Thieves has been launched on the Steam platform. The Cursed Fortress is a relatively difficult copy in the game. Let’s share the gameplay strategy of the Cursed Fortress
The Cursed Fortress is The fortress located in the Ancient Islands (L-14). Unlike other world events, Cursed Keeps must be activated by the player and can exist simultaneously with other periodic world events.
If a huge red-eyed skull cloud appears in the sky above the fortress, it means that the fortress has been activated.
Around the Cursed Fortress
The Cursed Fortress has always been surrounded by thick fog, so it is difficult to observe the island's appearance from a distance. Unlike the ordinary Skeleton Fortress, the Cursed Fortress does not have any large structures. However, the probability of generating gunpowder barrels around it is higher than that of ordinary islands, thereby blowing up any ships trying to approach. How to activate
In order to activate the Cursed Fortress, players will need six Fires of Destiny and a Ritual Skull. and brought them to the Cursed Fortress.
1. Use the Fire of Destiny to light the statues
A total of six types of Fire of Destiny must be collected from the ferry boat and used for the corresponding ferryman statue in the fortress.
(Ordered clockwise by ritual cage)
Bad weather flames (white) - Killed by lightning.
Embattled Flame (Pink) - Killed by other pirate players.
Lost Sailor's Fire (Blue) - Killed by an ancient beast or shark.
Fire of the Cursed Bones (green) - Killed by skeletons.
Burning Heart's Flame (Red) - Burned by any form of fire. It could be the lava erupting from the Forgotten Islands, or a campfire, etc.
Venomous flame (purple) - poisoned to death. Possibly bitten by a snake, or struck by a viper bullet, or even poisoned by the curse surrounding the sea monster.
Each Ferryman statue in the fortress has a symbol representing his death, marking which color of the Fire of Destiny to light.
To light the lantern on the statue's hand, use the Second Interaction button, then the
Engage/Disengage
button. Once the lantern is lit, it can be copied and used as desired.
The white statue needs the light to be killed by lightning.
Pink statue, a light that needs to be killed by the player.
The blue statue needs the light that was killed by the shark.
The green statue, the lamp that needs to be killed by the skeleton.
The red statue needs to be burned to death.
The purple statue needs to be poisoned by the light. 2. Place Ritual Skulls
After lighting all the statues, a cage with a missing skull will open. Here, the Ritual Skull needs to be placed above the neck in the cage to activate the Cursed Fortress. Here's how to get the Ritual Skull:
Purchase the Skeleton Captain's Skull quest from the Duke for 35,000 gold or 30 blue coins (doubloons). Although expensive, this mission uncovers and unearths a Ritual Skull near the nearest outpost.
Starts a Skeleton Seeker voyage, which will spawn a Skeleton Captain in the given area. The Captain will drop a Guilty Bounty Skull and the Skeleton Command, which will dig up the Ritual Skull. .
On your voyage, find a small or large island with an Emergent Skeleton Captain on it. The captain will drop a Sin Bounty Skull and a Skull Command, which can be used to dig up the Ritual Skull.
The cage's gift table comes with the Enchantment Vessel, the Hexing Skull and the Dark Relic of the Evil Eye.
The Ritual Cage will remain closed until all Flames of Destiny have been placed on the correct Ferryman statue.
Once the Flame of Destiny has been placed, the cage will open. At this time, the ritual skeleton can be placed on the headless skeleton.
Right-click to extend the Ritual Skull, then press F to place it.
After placing the skull, surrounding flames and skull eyes will flash, indicating that the ceremony has begun.
When the Fortress of the Damned is activated, the Ritual Skull will remain in the activated cage.
A huge cloud of red-eyed skulls floats above the activated Cursed Fortress.
The Raid
After the fortress is activated, a huge cloud of red-eyed skulls will appear above the fortress. The fortress chamber will be sealed and a treasure will be generated inside. The Death's Chest may be part of the treasure chest, which will also be shown on the navigation chart.
This raid will spawn several waves of Shadow Skeletons of Destiny, culminating in a battle with the Ghost of Ashes.
The Shadow of Destiny Skeleton
The Demonic Hand will appear from the tomb beneath the Ferryman statue as a reminder of which color was spawned. Shadow Skeletons of Destiny are colorful shadow skeletons. The way to materialize them is to use the corresponding Fire of Destiny (no need to lift a lantern).
In order for players to identify the type of Shadow of Destiny skeletons generated in this wave of raids, the ghost hand will appear under the corresponding Ferryman statue (pictured). These skeletons may spawn with daggers, pistols, shotguns, powder kegs, fortress powder kegs, or unarmed. For the record, the Shadow of Destiny Skeleton requires 8 dagger attacks and 1 shotgun blast to die.
In Cursed Fortress, there are 12 waves of Shadow of Destiny skeletons. Each wave will spawn approximately 8-10 skeletons.
The first 4 waves will only spawn single-color Shadow of Destiny skeletons.
However, in waves 5-8, up to 4 types of powder keg skeletons of different colors may appear; especially in waves 7 and 8, two colors of Shadow of Destiny skeletons will appear, and There is a chance to spawn powder keg skeletons.
The last 9-12 waves will spawn a mix of 3 different Shadows of Destiny Skeletons, with a chance to spawn up to 4 Fortress Powder Keg Skeletons.
Once all 12 waves of skeletons are cleared, the boss will appear.
"Ashes" Ghost (Boss)
Same as the Skeleton Lord, has the invisibility effect of the Shadow Skeleton. The ghost of "Ashes" will appear as the Skeleton King. This ghost is more powerful than Ember, has more health, has the same movement pattern (except he doesn't have the ability to teleport), and summons Shadow of Destiny Skeleton reinforcements instead of regular Skeletons.
Ember ghosts have the same health regardless of the number of players participating in the raid.
Strategy
Using a powder keg to blow up the "Ashes" ghost might be a good choice, since it doesn't teleport. You can start the Shadow of Destiny Skeleton Attack_Gathering Point Gunpowder Keg from the beginning and wait until the Skeleton King appears to blow it up. According to tests, compared with other damage methods, only 20 stronghold gunpowder barrels or 100 gunpowder barrels are enough to kill the "ash" ghost.
Another way to quickly kill it is to lure it to the shore of the fort and shoot it with the big gun on the ship. Killing the boss still requires a lot of ammo, but it's faster and safer than using conventional weapons.
If positioned correctly, you can have a crew member harpoon the boss, doing 15 damage per shot while briefly stunning it, making the boss's shots easier and more efficient!< /p>
Fire bombs can also be used to attack the boss, but they will not cause much damage.
Anchor your boat to prevent its shock waves from shaking the boat off. If the ship gets too close, there may be a Shadow of Destiny skeleton with a powder keg on the shore, causing damage to the ship when it explodes.
The cursed bullets will affect the boss and the Shadow Skeleton of Destiny, preventing them from moving and using weapons.
Once the ghost of "Ashes" is defeated, the Raid of the Cursed Fortress will be completed, the skull cloud will disappear, and the Cursed Fortress key will drop from the boss. Cursed Fortress keys can be seen and tracked on navigation charts.

In order to obtain the Treasure of the Cursed Fortress, the player must be on the fortress' title card (the thing that will be shown if you are close enough to the island) when the player uses the Cursed Fortress Key to open the vault. ) within the range. Other crew members can hide on another ship or fort until the vault is opened to gain credibility. (?)
