What does water lily mean? What is water lily? Water lily language and legends
The flower language of water lily is: clean, innocent, full of vitality, emerging from the mud unstained, unremitting efforts, aloof, ignorant of worldly affairs, spotless, and charming.
Legend has it that once upon a time, a fish said to a girl that if she would come to see him often and let him see her eyes, he could give her a jar of water. Of course, that was nothing more than an excuse. The fish's mind is as spotless as hers. So, the girl met the fish every morning, and the fish fulfilled his promise. Every day, her family members kept asking about the origin of the water, but the girl just laughed and didn't answer.
Although they look at each other across the water, they have the same state of mind. On the third day, the girl found that she fell in love with fish. In the morning mist, the lingering affection was almost unreal. Finally, the fish told the girl that he hoped she would be his wife, and the girl agreed lovingly. So the fish came out of the river, went to the shore and hugged the girl. In this way they became husband and wife.
Finally, one day people in the village saw their meeting. They believed that the fish had used a witchcraft on the girl. So they locked up the girl and came to the river with knives, forks and spears. Call out the fish and threaten him with his wife. The moment he appears, they strike, and the fish dies in despair. Then, people carried the fish carcass back in triumph. They threw the fish carcass at the girl's feet.
She fantasized about him waking up. But that only resulted in her heartbreak. So she picked up the already cold fish and walked towards the river. If time cannot heal wounds, then death always can. They died like this in the eyes of people with surprise and suspicion. However, their children have multiplied in the water for generations, and that is today's water lily.

Water lilies are also divided by color, such as red water lilies, blue water lilies, purple water lilies, and white water lilies. The more common one in my country is the white water lily. Its flowers generally bloom from midnight (1 o'clock in the morning) to noon (12 o'clock at noon) every day. After 12 noon, it will gradually close, so it is called "Ziwu Lotus".
Water lily is the national flower of Thailand, Bangladesh, India and Cambodia. In ancient Greece and Rome, water lilies, like lotus flowers in China, were regarded as the embodiment of holiness and beauty, and were often used as sacrifices to the goddess. In the New Testament, there is also a saying that "holy things emerge from the mud but remain unstained", and water lilies have the effect of attracting wealth and blessings in Feng Shui.
