Briefly describe the characteristics of thunderstorm clouds
Cumulonimbus clouds that produce thunderstorms are called thunderstorm clouds. A thunderstorm cloud is called a thunderstorm cell, and its horizontal scale is about ten kilometers. Multiple thunderstorm cells gathered together in groups are called thunderstorm groups or thunderstorm bands. The process can be divided into three stages: formation, maturity and dissipation.
In the initial stage, the movement within the cell is ascending. In the mature stage, part of the cloud is ascending and part is sinking. In the dissipation stage, most of the cloud is sinking. Thunderstorm clouds can appear isolated and scattered to form general thunderstorms, which are relatively weak thunderstorm weather systems. It will cause severe local weather disasters.
