After climbing Baizhang Mountain for about three miles, you can see a ravine on the left, a steep cliff on the right, and stack stones to form a rock. After more than ten steps, you can reach the summit. This is where the victory of the mountain begins. Follow the ridge to the east and you will reach Xiaojian. There are stone beams spanning it, all covered with green vines and ancient trees. Although the pavilion is not hot in the middle of summer, there is no heat at noon. The water is clear from the high gurgling water, and the sound is splashing. After crossing the stone beam and zigzagging up the two cliffs, we found the mountain gate and three huts, which could not accommodate more than ten people. Then you have a view of the stream in front and the stone pool in the back. Between the two gorges, the Fengshui flows continuously all day long.

There is a stone beam across the pond inside the gate. Turn to the north and enter the nunnery by climbing several steps of stone stairs. There are several old houses in the nunnery. They are humble, narrow and have no view. The west pavilion alone is the best. Water rushes out of the west valley through the stone fissures, and water from the south and east valleys merge into the pool. Coming out of the pool is what was previously called a small stream. The pavilion is located on its upper stream, where the water and rocks collide with each other, which is the most interesting place to play. Behind the wall, nothing can be seen. If you lie on it alone at night, under the pillow, it will gurgling all night long. It will make you sad for a long time, which is lovely to your ears. Go out of the mountain gate to the east, and you will reach the stone platform after ten steps.

Down on the steep shore, it is deep and dangerous. Looking southeast from the forest, I saw a waterfall gushing out from the cave in front of me, falling dozens of feet into the air. Its foam was like a spray of loose beads, and it was so bright and dazzling that I couldn't look directly at it. Taidang Mountain is missing from the southwest, and Yilu Mountain is in front of it. A single peak stands out, and for hundreds of miles, you can clearly see the high and low peaks. As the sun sets over the western mountains, the afterglow shines horizontally, and the purple and green colors overlap, innumerable. (Wu Zhengwei will show you more beautiful pictures one after another)

As soon as you look down, you will see white clouds covering the river, like the undulating waves of the sea, and the mountains coming out of it, far and near, are all flying, coming and going. No, everything changes instantly. The path in Taitung is cut off, and the villagers cut stone blocks to cross it, and wrote sacred words to its east to pray for floods and droughts. Those who are afraid of danger may not dare to take it. However, even if the mountains are impressive, they are still poor.

Baizhangyan is famous for its waterfalls. "The stream is clear, the water and rocks are fighting against each other, and the sound is splashing; the waterfall is surging, falling into the air, scattering beads and spraying, and it is dazzling."
