Mount Emei is a mountain in Sichuan Province, China, and one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. Emei Mountain is located in the western edge of Sichuan Basin. A large rural surrounding area is geologically called the Permian Emei Mountain Great Igneous Province, which was produced by the eruption of Emei Mountain volcano during the Permian period. Administratively, Emei Mountain is located near the county-level city with the same name (Emei Mountain City), which is a part of Leshan prefecture-level city. It was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996.

As a sacred mountain

Mount Emei, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, is traditionally regarded as a bodhisattva or a place of enlightenment. Pu ǔ·Xi·an is called Pei Xi Pusa (Pu Xian) in Datura.

Data from the 6th and 7th centuries A.D./KLOC-0 suggest that the martial arts practice in Emei Mountain Temple [4] first mentioned that Shaolin Temple was the birthplace of boxing in China.

Sunrise and sea of clouds

The wonders of Mount Emei include the sunrise and the sea of clouds seen from the Jinding.

Sunrise is very diverse, but the best start is that the ground and sky are the same deep purple, and soon there will be rosy clouds, followed by a bright purple arc, and then the sun rises in a semicircle.

The sea of clouds includes several cloud phenomena, for example, in addition to the regular clouds below, clouds appearing in the sky above.

Native animals

Visitors to Mount Emei may see dozens of Tibetan macaques. They are often seen taking food from tourists. Local businessmen sell nuts to tourists to feed monkeys. You can see some monkeys eating human food, such as potato chips.
