Where is Guazhou?

Guazhou County, belonging to Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, is located at the western end of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, with an east longitude of 94 45 ′ ~ 97 00 ′ and a north latitude of 39 52 ′ ~ 465 438+0 53 ′. Yumen City in the east, Dunhuang City in the west, Subei Mongolian Autonomous County in the north and south, and Hami City in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the northwest. It is a transportation hub connecting Gansu, Xinjiang, Qinghai and Tibet.

Historical evolution of Guazhou

As early as 4000 years ago in the late Neolithic period, there were ancestors in Guazhou.

In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was Xirong Land, Yueshi Land of Qin Wei and Wusun Land.

In the second year of Yuanshou in Liang Wudi (12 1 ago), it belonged to Jiuquan county, and in the sixth year of Ding Yuan in Liang Wudi (11before), it was assigned to Jianming 'an, Yolanda and Guang Zhi counties.

Tang Gaozu Wude re-established Guazhou in 622. Ming established Han Dongwei.

In the first year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1723), Anxi Wei was established.

In the second year of Yongzheng (1724), Anxi Zhili Hall was established.

In the 24th year of Qianlong (1759), Anxi County was established.

In the thirty-ninth year of Qianlong (1774), the government was changed to Anxi Zhili prefecture.

In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), it was changed to Anxi county.

1June, 949, Anxi county people's government was established.

In August 2006, Gengfu County was named Guazhou County.
