Hachi: The Story of a Dog is adapted from a true story that happened in Japan in 1933. It tells the story of a university professor who adopted a small Akita dog and named it Hachi. Every day after that, hachi sent the professor to the station in the morning and waited for the professor to come home together in the evening. Unfortunately, the professor died of illness and never returned to the station. However, Hachi waited at the station every day for the next nine years until he finally died.
