Red throttle valve

With the increase of per capita disposable amount and the popularization of science and technology, cars have become the necessary means of transportation for most families. In daily use, how to make car maintenance more cost-effective is a concern of most car owners. Automobile maintenance is divided into major maintenance and minor maintenance. Today, we will talk about major maintenance, how often it should be done, which parts to check specifically, and how to save money.

1. oil

When it comes to the engine oil in the car, you may think of engine oil for the first time. Of course, the oil must be changed, but besides the oil, we also need to check the gearbox oil. CVT transmission oil is recommended to be changed once every 60,000 kilometers. If it is an AT gearbox or a dual-clutch gearbox, the replacement mileage will be slightly longer, which is about 65,438+10,000 kilometers.

The replacement of steering oil can be judged by naked eyes, and we can judge it from the transparency of steering oil. If it is turbid, it should be replaced. Brake oil can be detected with a brake oil water content detection pen. The water content test pen is not expensive, so you can leave one in the car. If the water content of brake oil does not exceed the standard, the oil feels smooth and can be used continuously.

After analyzing the engine oil, let's look at the antifreeze, so how to judge whether the antifreeze needs to be replaced? In fact, it is also very simple, which can be judged by the color of antifreeze; If the antifreeze is rust-like dark red, it should be replaced. If the color is light red and bright, there is no need to change it. Generally, the antifreeze that comes with the original car can be used for 5~6 years.

2. Spark plugs

In fact, there is no uniform time to replace spark plugs, and different vehicles have different degrees of use. Therefore, the most direct way to judge whether the spark plug should be replaced is to let the maintenance personnel remove the spark plug to see the degree of wear, and then decide whether to replace it.

3. Air filter element and throttle valve

It is recommended to replace the air filter every 10 thousand kilometers, of course, according to your own car environment. If the environment in the car is not good and there is a lot of dust, the replacement mileage will be relatively shortened. As for the throttle valve, if the fuel consumption of the vehicle becomes high or wobbles during use, you can consider cleaning the throttle valve. Anyway, cleaning the throttle is not expensive, and it can be solved for tens of dollars.

4. Brake disc

Brakes are very important for our driving safety, so when will the brakes be replaced? We can also judge for ourselves. If the brake disc is badly worn, it is recommended to replace it in time, including the brake pads. If there are many grooves on the brake pad, it means that the brake disc is excessively worn and should be replaced in time. After all, the brake is a component that directly affects driving safety.

5. tires

We mainly look at the degree of rubber aging of tires. If the degree of rubber aging is relatively high, the fetal hair will break as soon as it is pulled out, and aging will be accompanied by cracks. If the above phenomenon occurs, you can consider replacing the tire. After replacing the tire, you need to do four-wheel alignment, otherwise there may be deviation.

The above are the matters that we need to pay special attention to in major maintenance, and the inspection of brakes and tires is also something that we need to pay attention to in the process of using cars. After all, these are the two most important components related to our car safety.
