But Liuba is not like that. Liuba is really full of scenery wherever you take a photo. Whether it is a scenic spot or along the way, it is so colorful that people are shocked and exclaimed.

I stayed in Liuba for three days, and the self-driving route was a two-day trip. I posted a lot of posts on WeChat Moments and Weibo along the way. It was basically an explosive scene. The first day Morning:

Taiziling/Shizigou Ranch/Zaoshugou

First drive from Liuba County to the north slope of Taiziling, and watch the sunrise at the top of the mountain. The sunrise time in autumn is 6: Around 30. After watching the sunrise, we went down the mountain from the south slope of Taiziling to Zaoshugou to see the white walls and red leaves. Then we returned to Taiziling and went to Shishigou Ranch and hiked a short section of alpine meadow. After hiking, you will find the larch forest at the entrance of Shizigou, which is suitable for taking portraits.

Lunch: Lunch at Zibai Family in Zhakou Shicun, a village just a few kilometers in front of Shizigou. The bacon is super delicious.

PS: Set out at 5 a.m. to watch the sunrise at Taiziling (the sunrise is beautiful, but you have to get up early, make your own choices, wear more clothes, preferably down jackets, it’s cold!)

Taiziling

The sunrise here actually makes people feel a kind of tenderness and romance. At first, I thought I couldn’t see the sunrise because of the thick clouds. At 6:40, the sky started to turn white, but I still didn’t see the red sun. When I was disappointed, I suddenly saw the sun rushing through the clouds. When we came out, we saw orange, azure, dark blue, pink and purple on the horizon in the distance. They merged and overflowed. At that moment, people were moved and saddened. It was really beautiful! I accidentally took a picture of my companion’s back. Doesn’t it feel like a Korean drama? There is also the winding mountain road, which must be photographed aerially to fully show its twists and turns, blending in with the surrounding colorful scenery, making it both atmospheric and colorful.

Shizigou Ranch

It is very comfortable to take a leisurely walk, the air is very fresh, and the surrounding mountains and fields are colorful. Unfortunately, we were unlucky on the day we went and there was no sunshine.

There are many free-range cows in the alpine meadow. It is very leisurely to take a walk here. Then we reach the larch forest at the entrance of Shizigou. There is a small road in the middle. It is beautiful to take a portrait!

Lunch

Zibai people have lunch. The bacon is super delicious. The boss doesn’t know how to sell bacon. He said that the pigs are fed with grain and they don’t even have enough to eat at home, so they have to go to the restaurant for guests. Only native pig bacon can be eaten when eating, it is indeed a good idea! The only drawback is that the wait took too long, at least half an hour or more. Afternoon:

Jiuzigou/Zibai Mountain/Lover Valley/Guanghua Mountain

After lunch, go to Jiuzigou to see the larch trees. Then go to Zibai Mountain to see the larches (the entrance fee to Zibai Mountain is 40 yuan, and the round-trip ropeway is 80 yuan), and then to the Lover's Valley to see the larches. The golden larches in each place are very beautiful, and each has its own characteristics. Finally, we go to Guanghua Mountain Look at the red leaves.

Dinner: People in Liuba County eat tripe-roasted chicken. The soup is delicious and not expensive. A pot of local chicken is about 400 yuan for 8-10 people. The boss is a handsome young man.

Jiuzigou

There is a base for growing shiitake mushrooms, an industry supported by the local government. The government spends money to build greenhouses, and farmers buy their own strains. The temperature and climate here are very suitable, and the mushrooms grown are beautiful. Surrounded by golden deciduous forests, such a pleasing place makes people suddenly envious of these mushrooms.

Zibai Mountain

The entrance fee is 40 yuan, and the round-trip ropeway is 80 yuan. If you buy a package ticket, there is a discount. Currently, you have to take the ropeway and the trail is under maintenance. Zibai Mountain is also dominated by larch forest, which is especially beautiful for aerial photography.

Lover Valley

It is said that there is also a beautiful legend. It is said that in ancient times, a cowherd boy met a beautiful fairy when he was herding cattle here, and the two fell in love at first sight. They had a tryst here, and later the cowherd boy didn't care about his cows and simply followed the fairy to heaven. This place became known as the Valley of Lovers.

There is a Lover's Bridge in Lover's Valley. It sways when you walk on it. If a couple walks together, they will lean against each other due to the swaying, and their relationship will heat up again. My deepest impression of this place is the pine needles everywhere. The pine trees here are larch trees that are about to turn yellow. They fall into a soft layer on the ground. The ground is golden and very beautiful.

Guanghua Mountain

Because it was already late when we arrived at Guanghua Mountain and the weather was bad, we only stayed briefly before leaving, but the autumn colors everywhere were also dazzling.

Dinner

The belly-baked chicken I ate at Jushang in Liuba County was super delicious. It contained adenophora, lily, barley and other medicinal materials. It was very warm and comfortable to eat. The price It’s not expensive, 40 yuan per kilogram, the whole chicken is sold, and a few vegetarian dishes are given. After eating one chicken plus the cost of tea and oil dishes, it’s about 400 yuan, enough to feed 10 people. Highly recommended! But you need to book in advance. In the morning

Drive to Xujiashan, pass the suspension bridge, walk up the mountain to see the vicissitudes of thousand-year-old pine trees, and feel the eternal romantic love story.

Afternoon

Went to see the three-thousand-year-old Sala tree and the Shuiman Bridge (two two scenic spots next to each other), then drive 8 kilometers to the most beautiful rural road. The intersection is the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree (there are the most people here, you need to avoid the crowd when taking photos to check in, and there is no admission fee), then drive on the most beautiful rural road (Gaojiang Road), at Shimenzi is the best place to take photos. This road is 39 kilometers long. It ends at the Gaoqiaopu border in Fengxian County. It passes through Chaiguanling and goes down the mountain to Zhangliang Temple (tickets are 50 in peak season). Xujiashan

There is a thousand-year-old pine tree here, which is said to have been left by a fairy in those days. Fascinated by the scenery here, she lingered in Xujiashan for a long time, and finally left reluctantly. However, a pine tree grew where she stood, and it was in very good shape, as tall and slender as a fairy. It’s great to take a group of portraits here.

Thousand-year-old Sala tree and Shuiman Bridge

In my mind, the Sala tree is a plant that grew up in the ancient dinosaur era. There is also such a Sala tree here in Liuba , then you have to go and see it. There is a special viewing platform here, with the words "Thousand-year-old Salo Tree" paved with small stones. If you check in and take a photo here, you will really feel like you have a mountain behind the big tree.

Thousand-year-old Ginkgo Tree

There is no charge for this place, but the facilities are quite complete. There are parking lots, snack bars, and various fruit vendors. The thousand-year-old Ginkgo tree is also very beautiful and super big. One tree, with golden leaves dancing in the gaps between the trees like beautiful butterflies. It just smells like ginkgo fruit when you get closer, but it's not too bad.

Zibai Square

Continue driving there and pass Zibai Square along the way. There are beautiful maple leaves here. If you are interested, you can stop and take photos.

The most beautiful rural road (Gaojiang Road)

This road is known as the most beautiful road. It is really not an exaggeration. It is indeed so beautiful! Experts like us who travel frequently and are used to seeing all kinds of beautiful mountains and rivers are shocked by such scenery. It is very beautiful along the way, and every photo taken is full of scenery. Of course, it is best to park here in Shimenzi, as the road is wider. Moreover, there are really few cars, and there are many people taking pictures here. Vehicles passing by will slow down, so you can stand in the middle of the road and take pictures, but you must avoid the vehicles and pay attention to safety. Everyone is here to travel and have fun, not to take risks and find trouble. Yes, give way to the car when it’s time to go out. Safety comes first when you go out, so remember that.

Chaiguanling

Chaiguanling is also the best place to see red and yellow leaves all over the mountain. It is very beautiful. We also saw a motorcade here that came to Liuba to see the red leaves.
