Hongshan Temple in Wu 'an City, East Taihang Mountain, located at the foot of Zijinshan Mountain, 25 kilometers northeast of Wu 'an City, is a Buddhist holy place respected in North China. It was founded in the middle of the Tang Dynasty (AD 707). In A.D. 1730, Emperor Kangxi made a pilgrimage through the temple on his southern tour, and once wrote a poem, "Cinnabar on a rock represents the beauty of the five elements, and a real person enters a fairyland". The main buildings include 72 halls, such as the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, the Hall of Ursa Major, Notre Dame de Hongshan, the Black Dragon Club and Notre Dame de Kowloon. Candle Mountain, Hongshan Lake, green mountains and deep valleys in Sichuan are really "Xanadu".
