Are folk gods Buddhist or Taoist?

Not belonging to any religion, this is a real superstition.

Those people are fortune tellers, and fortune tellers are for profit. Some of them have magical powers, but most of them are owned by monsters. There is a simple reason. If you want to realize some private interests, such as money, you will give different beings their own opportunities. Therefore, the two coexist and seek greater private interests.

I am far away from these people. Not credible.
