Is the pneumatic pressure regulating valve connected to the cylinder moving point or the origin?

Both will do. There are generally two ways to connect the pneumatic pressure regulating valve with the cylinder: connecting the moving point of the cylinder and connecting the origin of the cylinder.

1. Connecting the moving point of the cylinder means connecting the outlet of the pneumatic pressure regulating valve with the air inlet of the cylinder, so that the cylinder can obtain the required air pressure through the pneumatic pressure regulating valve, thus realizing the movement.

2. Connecting the origin of the cylinder means connecting the outlet of the pneumatic pressure regulating valve with the exhaust port of the cylinder, so that when the cylinder does not need air pressure, the gas can be discharged through the pneumatic pressure regulating valve, thus returning to the origin position of the cylinder. Choosing the moving point or origin of the connecting cylinder needs to be determined according to the design and application requirements of the specific pneumatic system. Generally speaking, if the cylinder needs to move frequently and needs different air pressures to control different motion states, then the motion point of the cylinder should be selected. If the cylinder only needs to move at a specific time and needs to return to the origin position, then the cylinder origin should be selected.
