Jinan Rail Transit Construction Planning

A few days ago, the reporter learned from the Jinan municipal government that the environmental impact assessment of the recent construction plan of Jinan urban rail transit began to be publicized for the first time. It is reported that the EIA will analyze the rail transit construction plan from the perspective of environmental protection to ensure the coordinated development of rail transit construction and environmental protection. The reporter was informed that in order to ensure the safety of spring water protection, the rail transit lines recently built in Jinan City have avoided downtown areas and sensitive areas for spring water protection, and the planned three lines are mainly on the ground.

Using idle railways to build a 98-kilometer "two vertical and one horizontal" east-west line.

According to the contents of the EIA released this time, Jinan's recently planned rail transit is "two vertical and one horizontal" three lines. The total length is about 98 kilometers.

Judging from the published rail transit routes, the three planned routes pass through several major transportation hubs, such as Jinan West Railway Station, Jinan Railway Station, long-distance bus station, international airport, etc., and their main functions are to connect the western new district, the eastern new district and the old city. The reporter was informed that among the three routes announced, R 1 is north-south vertical, R2 is east-west horizontal, and R3 is north-south vertical.

R 1 connects the old city of Changqing, the center of the university town group and the center of the west railway station, and connects the key areas such as Innovation Valley, Garden Expo Park, University Town and Jinan West Railway Station in series to support the development of the western urban area of "one city and two districts" proposed in the overall urban planning. The R 1 line is mainly underground within the Ring Expressway, and mainly elevated outside the Ring Expressway.

R2 starts from West Railway Station in the west and reaches Guodian in the east, using the existing railway corridor, mainly in the form of ground. Track R2 is an east-west urban express line, connecting West Railway Station, Jinan Railway Station, East New Town and Zhangqiu City. Most of them use the Ji Jiao Railway Corridor to provide fast travel in the east-west direction, support the concept of east-west development in the overall urban planning, and build the section from Jinan West Railway Station to Guodian in advance. R2 line is mainly in ground mode, parallel to the existing railway except West Railway Station and Jinan Railway Station. At present, the relevant departments of Jinan are connecting with the railway department on the plan of using the existing railway corridor for urban rail transit, striving to make overall arrangements for urban rail transit and solve the long-distance traffic problem in the east-west direction of Jinan while using the existing railway corridor to reduce the cutting of the city and ensure the normal operation of the railway.

R3 starts from Longdong in the south, reaches Yao Qiang Airport in the north, and connects Jiyang in the long term. Track R3 is a north-south urban express line, connecting the Olympic Sports and Culture Expo Zone, Jinan Xindong Station District, Airport District and Jiyang City, and connecting the Olympic Sports Center, Jinan Xindong Station, Yao Qiang Airport, Jiyang and other important passenger distribution points in series, so as to build Longdong-Airport Section in advance. The R3 line is mainly underground in the south of Jinan Xindong Station and above ground in the north, but some lines near the airport are underground.

Two transfer stations are set at the beginning of the three lines, and the layout of the stations is connected in series to form the main area.

According to the publicity plan, there are two transfer stations on the three lines, namely Jinan West Station between R 1 and R2 and Xizhoujiazhuang Station between R2 and R3.

R 1 is vertical from north to south, and1/station is from south to north:

Dongchi Station-Qiandayan Station-Garden Expo Park Station-University Town Station-Ziwei Road Station-Zhao Ying Station-Yufuhe Station-Wangfuzhuang Station-dayangzhuang Station-Jinan West Station-Yanmazhuang West Station

R2 is horizontal from east to west, and the sequence of 16 station from west to east is:
