The running water under the stove is not good. Why? Everybody answer. Everyone does. I want to know why. Is there any scientific basis?

There is no scientific basis (what "feng shui is incompatible with fire and water" is metaphysics rather than science). The reason is that all cooking stoves in Cantonese Restaurant are specially equipped with tap water to cool down. When cooking, rinse with water and pour it out, and all of it will be discharged from the pipe under the stove. The purpose of these restaurants is to make a profit. Even if they believe in Feng Shui instead of science, as Cantonese, they admit that they pay more attention to this custom than other regions (directly speaking, they are more superstitious), and walking under the stove is not necessarily taboo. What's wrong with a domestic stove in business?

Therefore, the saying that "the running water under the stove is not good" is unfounded regardless of Feng Shui or science. Since there is a bad saying, it is a custom somewhere at best.
