Folk custom is a big concept compared with architecture. There are many folk customs that have evolved into the concept of Feng Shui. If the number of rooms in the house is even, it cannot be even. The height of the house in the west can't exceed the height of the house in the east. There should be no ponds, running water (dragons falling into the water) and so on on the right or east side of the house. Many of these folk customs are gradually broken by young designers in modern architecture. However, the room layout of many buildings is not good. For example, ancestors advocated that housing should be well-defined. Now the apartment with missing corners and irregular geometric figures have become the proud works of designers. This needs the life practice of several generations to verify whether the folk customs about architecture should be observed.
