Because the mountains around Zixiao Palace naturally formed the shape of two treasure chairs with dragons and pearls, it was once named "the land of Ziyun" by Emperor Yongle, the founder of Ming Dynasty. Carved with the plaque "Purple Clouds and Blessed Land" is the Fudi Hall, from which you can enter the Dragon and Tiger Hall. Now the gate here is closed, and only the plaque with "Zixiao Palace" can enter through the middle door.
There is a golden canal in front of Zixiaogong Mountain, and a golden water bridge is built on it. The water flowing under Jinshui Bridge comes from Bao Xiaozhu's peak in the west, named after the five elements thought that "the west belongs to gold, and gold is born in Lishui". "Golden water, flowing water, aquatic wood, evergreen trees", a gas reservoir wind, is a natural treasure trove of geomantic omen, which means that the incense in Zixiao Palace is getting more and more prosperous.
Enter the Dragon and Tiger Hall, the Monument Pavilion, Tang Shifang, Zixiao Hall and the Parents Hall from the East Gate, and the halls are stacked one after another. The rest of the halls are pavilions. On both sides are the East Palace and the West Palace, which are self-contained courtyards, quiet and elegant. In addition, the four Zhou Songbai are beautiful, with dense bamboo forests, which make this ancient building more noble and rich.
After the Dragon and Tiger Hall, you can see two well-preserved pavilions on the east and west sides, with double eaves and a spiral painting. The huge stone tablet in the museum, with a height of 10 meter, is composed of complete giant stone carvings and has high artistic value.
Climb hundreds of steps and you will come to Tang Shifang on the second floor, which was called "Worship Hall" in the Ming Dynasty.
In the center of the temple, there is a shrine dedicated to the bronze statue of Yuan Dynasty, with statues of Lv Dongbin and Zhang Sanfeng on both sides.
According to legend, in the Ming Dynasty, only when the emperor sent his ministers to Wudang Mountain to offer sacrifices could they go to Zixiao Hall, where ordinary pilgrims and believers could only worship Zhenwu.
There is an exquisite screen in the temple, on which are painted twenty-four filial piety pictures of China's traditional folk stories.
Passing through the Hajj Hall, it is a spacious courtyard, and the Zixiao Hall standing on the three-story platform is magnificent and stands tall. The platform in front of the temple is very wide, and the carved column is tortuous and magnificent.
On both sides of the broad stone steps, two slender two-story pavilions are the Bell and Drum Tower.
There is a sun pool in front of the temple, in which there are five-colored fish. Five-color fish experienced colorless changes from childhood to old age, including black, blue, red, yellow and white.
Zixiao Hall is a wooden structure with double eaves and rests on the top of the mountain. Five rooms are wide with double eaves and nine ridges. * * * There are 36 eaves columns and gold columns, which are arranged in an orderly manner.
The roof of Zixiao Temple is covered with peacock blue glazed tiles, and the main ridge and vertical ridge are carved in yellow and green, with rich and colorful decoration. The spine is decorated with kisses ***6 1 from dragons and phoenixes, immortals, Tianma, seahorses and lions. This architectural practice represents the highest level of imperial power in the Ming Dynasty.
Its forehead, arch and ceiling are all painted, and the relief of the algae well has two dragons playing with beads, which is lifelike. Painting makes the whole hall look dazzling and magnificent.
In front of the Zixiao Temple, there is an iron incense burner about 2 meters high, which was cast in the 14th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (14 16), and the top was cast in the 10th year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (15 15), with 30,000 characters engraved on it.
Outside the main hall, there are three plaques, namely, "Thank you for praising Tian Zhong", "Clear the capital beyond the clouds" and "Starting on the 6th", which are all highly praised by Taoist priests for Zhenwu Emperor and Zixiao Hall.
In the shrine in the middle of the main hall, there are statues of the Jade Emperor and Zhenwu Emperor in different times, and there are golden boys holding scrolls and jade girls holding jade seals on both sides. The golden couple were originally the retinue of the Jade Emperor. After Zhenwu gained the Tao, he was made emperor by the Jade Emperor, and two of his retinue were sent to Zhenwu Emperor as retinue.
The statues lined up on both sides are like the Eight Kings, all of which are copper-plated and gold-plated. They have both form and spirit, different expressions and vivid images, which can be called the treasure house of copper casting art in China.
