The virgin forest area accounts for more than one third of the scenic area, which blends virgin forest, grassland and rare animals and plants into a ditch, forming a magnificent and unique landscape. It is the largest and most well-preserved natural forest ecosystem in the county so far, which has never been developed. In the dense virgin forest, all the plant zones from temperate zone to sub-frigid zone grow, and various plant species form forests independently, which complement each other. Such as alpine pine forest, cold spruce forest, alpine oak forest, alpine pine forest, Yang Hualin, larch forest and alpine shrub forest.

Entering the Shenguaisheng Mountain Nature Reserve, you can see a kind of strange stone-conch stone, which is said to be a Buddhist instrument. Haizishan Nature Reserve is located in the north of Daocheng, with a total area of 3,287 square kilometers and an average elevation of 4,300-4,700 meters. The surface of the plateau is the largest ancient ice relic on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, namely "Daocheng ancient ice cap". Rocks and sea urchins are everywhere. On the mountain with an average elevation of 4,500m, 1 145 sea urchins twinkle like a thousand diamonds dropped by God, ranking first in the country in scale and density.
