Wuzhou Longmu Temple is located on the east bank of Gui Jiang, north of Wuzhou City, Guangxi, at the northern end of Guilin Road. It was built in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, and was rebuilt in the Ming Wanli, Qing Kangxi and Yongzheng years. It is a rare cultural relic in Guangxi that has been preserved to this day and has the architectural style of the Song Dynasty. It has high historical and tourism value. Longmu Temple is a temple built by the people in the Pearl River Basin to commemorate the "Dragon Mother", the female leader of Baiyue nationality in the South during the Warring States Period. The Dragon Mother Temple was very lively. Dragon Mother is the God of Xijiang River. Legend has it that the Dragon Mother was the God of the Emperor Zulong of the Qin Dynasty. Her surname was Wen, a native of Xiaotongfang, Yidu Shuidong Street, tengxian. She was called the Dragon Mother because she raised five little dragons, and later died in Yuecheng, Guangdong. Dragon Mother has done a lot of good things for the benefit of the people in Xijiang River Basin, such as leading everyone to cultivate, weave, fish and animal husbandry, controlling floods, escorting wars, punishing evil and promoting good, saving lives, being charitable and giving alms to the poor.
