Basic overview of Yanliu Town

Yanliu Town, Shouxian County, Anhui Province is located between the Jianghuai River and the central area of ​​the four cities of Hefei, Lu'an, Shouxian County and Huainan. Yanliu Town is a demonstration town for the construction of small market towns in Anhui Province and a key town in the "Thousand Villages and Hundreds of Towns" project of building a new socialist countryside. It is one of the third batch of national development and reform pilot towns and the location of Xinqiao International Industrial Park, the Wanjiang Urban Belt Demonstration Park. The location of the first industrial park to be built in Lu'an, Hefei, and the first industrial park to be built in Shushan, Shouxian County are connected to Hefei Xinqiao International Airport to the east, where the Jianghuai Canal passes to the west, Hehuai-Fu Expressway to the east, and Hefei to the south. Liuye Expressway and Jiqi Expressway in the west form a water, land and air intersection. This has brought Yanliu a once-in-a-millennium development opportunity. Yanliu Town has become a strategic location for the economic radiation of the provincial capital from east to west, and is the bridgehead for Shouxian County to realize its struggle to rise. The planned area of ​​Xinqiao International Industrial Park is 40 square kilometers. In 2010, it was included in the "One Axis and Two Wings" key area of ​​the Wanjiang Urban Belt's Industrial Transfer Demonstration Zone by the Lu'an Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. For this reason, the Anhui Provincial Government, Lu'an Municipal Government, and Shouxian County Government have vigorously supported the development and construction of Yanliu Town, building it into an industrial town in Anhui Province, and developing into an economic county by the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan.
